I spent two hours and some minutes drawing a picture I rate a 9.5 because of some flaws. No regrets.

Drawdler keep on drawing, Your art always impresses me. I enjoy your style very much. Us artist just find criticisms about our work, I understand.

I know it's hard to be positive about one's art, Drawdler. I'm definitely not happy with where I'm at. And I know this is like the most vanilla advice anyone gives, but just continuing to draw really improves. I was thinking about how I believe my art to never improve, but then put a recent drawing up against one from just a couple months ago and noticed mass improvement.

Try drawing different things to get used to how different things work. I've been watching a lot of the Drawfee channel lately, and it's a comedy channel but I've picked up a bunch of art tips from it, and I honestly feel it's helped me to improve. I'd highly suggest it.

They also won't quit calling me ignorant. One of my friends yelled at me because I "wasn't listening" to her when I was. I used to be fine with it but it's become a genuine bother now when someone calls me "cute".

Following your post, I prefer much more to be called "cute" than "pretty". For some reason that not even I understand, I can't trust someone if they say I'm "pretty" or something like that. "Cute" seems more possible to me.

I agree.

It's just become degrading to me. I've been told so often that I look younger than I actually am that it starts to feel backhanded now.

I've been told that for years because I've looked 15-17 years old for a LONG time, so I don't even notice anymore, but it's definately annoying when you want to be seen as an adult. I've had that issue like once or twice but I can see it being much more harmful if you are in that situation a lot.

I agree. When you want to look like an adult, it's a issue. But I'm on a phase where any compliment is worth, because it's something rare.

I get told I look older than I really am. As soon as the full beard comes off it's the exact opposite.

The sound of a pencil scratching on paper sets my teeth on edge, like listening to fingernails on a blackboard. Whenever I can I use a pen, because writing with a pencil is horrible.
