thats the problem with modern media tho, literally everyone has an agenda when, if theyre reporting on something that should be impartial, they take sides

the exact same thing happened with the new ghostbusters (which PROVED that girls can make middle of the road, disappointing reboot fodder just as well as the guys can), when sites either put the movie on a pedestal for its all female cast, or slammed it for that same reason
they really should have done their ****ing jobs as reviewers and been impartial from the get go, instead of hyping or slamming an okay movie at best

but even with those two, you see a ridiculous amount of bias in straight up news, since just about every reporter injects their views into what should be regular old news

I just think of some woman with a Pikachu hat and some NES t shirt who's trying real hard to convince you she plays games, but at the same time you can tell that because she's trying so hard you can kinda tell she doesn't.
Bonus points if she's biting the wiring of a controller.

I tend to just think that a woman who actually plays video games, especially on a hardcore level, isn't one to go out and talk up how she's a "gamer girl".


I completely forgot about her. It tends to be easy since her being voiceless makes it easy for you to project yourself onto the character.

There should be zero sympathy given to people who have problems with being bullied in online games like CS:GO when the problem is so easily solved. In almost every online multiplayer game ever created there is a mute player option, and even if there for some reason isn't an option to mute a player you can just leave the server and go on a different one, alternatively you can put on your big strong independent woman pants and just ignore them. It is not a serious problem its just a bunch of assholes with anonymity being assholes and people too stubborn to ignore them.

Yes they can mute them or ignore them, but the problem still lies that the assholes shouldn't be assholes in the first place. Muting them ignores the real problem and doesn't truly solve it. So a girl is playing the game, so ****ing what, doesn't mean they have to act like a sexist pig.

I support Grills that want to play games.
