Just speculating, it makes the most sense to have him be in a season on his own. I mean, unless they reduce him to some kind of season opening villain and have him killed off in 2 episodes.

We had the 3-way with Kaos,the Doom Raiders and Kaossandra on background though. I think they'll probably merge or have him as an isolated arc(as in no other villains are currently worried, considering EP10 they might even be on vacation for shenanigans).

I just finished the first season, and I gotta say, it was way better than expected. The story was great, and while the new voices were different at first, I got used to them after. I can't wait to see some Giants, though, seeing how small Spyro was compared to Crusher's hammer.

I actually like the Academy backstories WAY better.

I just like the idea of Skylanders having to go through various things to actually get to become a Skylander instead of Eon just making every living creature a Skylander.

i actully i imagind that to become skylander, the portal master basicly chack every aspact of the "worthy" soul, personality everything. if there is enugh good, the portal master offear the worthy to become a skylander, the worthy can refuse but if he agree the portal master preforme a rituel that give the worthy skills and turn him to a skylander. that how i imagind the villains turnd to a skylanders, they had secand thoguts and doubts on thier life choices and decided to turn a new page as a skylanders.

No, you're trying to merge continuities. That's like trying to merge the Sonic Underground universe with the current Sonic game storyline.

In the games, he grew up in his homeland before meeting Master Eon for the first time.

Again, TV show is NOT canon. Users who try to merge universe into one don't know how spinoffs work.

I know it's a spinoff, but it still looks like it takes place before any of the games because we followed Spyro's story as he became a Skylander. In the games he was already a renown hero.

It's not a prequel, but if we imagine the two continuities as timelines, the games are much further along than the show, having a lot more Skylanders who are also more experienced. And of course, a more powerful and influential Kaos, as well as several additional villains.

So in that sense, it technically takes place at an earlier point in time than the games, despite them not being connected.

Even with the series not being canon, I still enjoy it even more than a non-canon just for fun series because it all looks like it's taking place in the past, compared to the games.

Also the fact the Core of Light is still a hidden place and not the base of Eon's operations (I've watched up to episode 8, not sure if the season's finale hints at something) and various other small details

The Senseis are a long-standing special team, so it's perfectly reasonable for them to be around. For all we know, King Pen is the only current Sensei in SA, while the other 17 Master Senseis are recruited later.

With my fan work I just mix up all the different canons together, so it doesn't bother me either. I really don't care about it not making sense together or anything. I don't mind the changes at all.

I don't hate the show, but...

It's just too juvenile. Most of the other properties that became Netflix cartoons (How to Train Your Dragon, Voltron, etc) have been family oriented... jokes that the parents will find funny, but still kid-appropriate. But Skylanders Academy only has those sporadically in the form of Glumshanks' backhanded compliments. They have more adult oriented jokes, but they're done in a way that would go over a kid's head (so they won't find it funny) and are simultaneously too low-brow for me to find funny.

My roommate, who normally loves cartoons, couldn't be bothered to pay attention beyond the first episode. :/

So now being Juvenile on TV Stream is bad... Seriously... It´s something to keep the Adults interested.

Well, impressions should go past the first episode,because honestly the pilot delivers so much hip and cool that the rest of the show barely attempts outside of a few words. It's a good introduction to the characters but terrible as a mood setter. I only got really hooked in after Dream Girls which is my second favorite episode.

Meh, humor is subjective... I think the show is hilarious and I implore you to finish the first season at least. A good chunk of S1 are these comedy-filled episodes that may or may not sit well with people! After Episode 9, tho? WHEW! OH MY LORD!!! Not to overhype it or anything, but the rest of the show is well worth the slight mediocrity that is the first half of the season.

My roommate was in the room the whole time as I watched the first 9 episodes, but she quit watching after the first one and just played her SimCity iPad game. I asked her a few episodes later what she thought, and she said, "Meh." She then fell asleep at some point during episode 8 (Pop Rocks), which may have been the best out of all the ones I've seen so far... but since there are only 3 episodes left, I'm not holding out much hope for her getting interested.

And I'll be relieved to be done with it.

Season 2 is looking like a slight timeskip because Cynder wouldn't enroll until some time passed(and if she's graduated, then it's even more time),so dunno.

Well, my favorite episodes are Dream Girls, Anger Management and the season finale, but if you really can't suspend disbelief on this being something of its own, then I can't help.

I'm a champ at suspending disbelief.

Anyway, all complaints aside... the show is still better than SuperChargers.

Yeah, while I personally liked the show as a whole, I'll admit the first season was pretty hit-or-miss. Not that I was really expecting it to be flawless, mind you.

But I am excited for things to come, especially with all that setup. There's no doubt in my mind that Season 2 will be better than the first.

No, because you can actually try to (unsuccessfully) merge the Skylanders continuities. Trying to merge the Sonic continuities would probably get you slapped with a lawsuit.

Spyro was cocky pre-LoS, and he's not meant to be a role model anyway since he keeps paying for his actions. I love it.
