PC master race? duh? why pay $400-$500 for a console when you can build a PC.. PCs are not only able to be upgraded over time, but they're just better.

As someone who listens to many gaming related podcasts and stuff, I would have to disagree with the whole "it's just inherently better" comment. Nearly all AAA games that are released run like GARBAGE on PCs on their initial launch. Sure, the graphics and power are better yadda yadda, but I would gladly take a few less frames or a slightly misaligned pixel over THE GAMES NOT ****ING WORKING! I appreciate the effort, but no one gives a crap.

That's not PC's fault. AAA devs prioritize console development and then rush out an unoptimized port that took little effort.

I understand that's not PC's fault, but I'm saying that knowing how bad PC ports of things are, I would rather play on a better optimized console version!

Also, I'm not an idiot. I know that PC iis objectively better than a PS4 or Xbox One. I just don't feel like shelling out the money on something I'll rarely use because I'm not even that huge of a gamer, tbh.

For me it's just a budget thing. I'm aware you don't have to shell out loads to get a halfway decent rig, but it usually wouldn't be much better than the consoles to begin with. And since I'll need the rig for other things such as music, Blender, and possibly editing, it's probably best I go all out rather than slowly replace parts.

Also a lot of people love to tout how much better PC looks than consoles but then tries to claim you can build a decent PC on a budget. But if you really want those graphics and heavier mods that PC gamers often advertise, you're probably gonna have to shell out that higher costs.

Xbox One because Halo and Forza and Gears.
I'd love to join the PC Mustard Race, but it's simply way too expensive. If you can find me a PC with the same power as an Xbox One that will be usable and compatible with games 3 years down the road without needing to upgrade, for less then the 300$ CANADIAN (important, not USD) I'd buy it. Thing is, that PC doesn't exist. It costs probably at least 500$ Canadian and that probably wouldn't include Windows 10 and even then I'd probably need to buy a monitor. (and no I'm not gonna go on ****ty Linux you nerds)
