To be fair, we don't actually know if the universe we live in is the "only" plane of existence.
It's a common theory that there is more than one universe, alternative realities, separate dimensions, etc., etc., even if you aren't religious.

And to state another point, the largest catholic church in the world takes no issue with the theory of evolution, so you can't really say that's bs from people who don't believe.

There really is no reason why the two can't coexist hand in hand, other than the ignorant and arrogant people from both sides that try to discredit the other.

Example of a religious person trying to discredit science:
Alydol basically stating that Atheist are liars because she personally doesn't believe in science.

Example of a nonreligious person trying to discredit religion:
84 claiming that the Bible is "fake" only because he personally doesn't believe in it.

Either way, this sort of attitude about either subject isn't respectful, logical, or acceptable, at least from my perspective.

I currently don't know where I stand on religion.

When I was younger, I was the kind of guy who went to church all the time. But then I started discovering myself, and I realized that my views on the world and my own personal identity were not compatible with the church I attended.

Do I believe in a higher power? I believe that there is a God. But I also know that finding one's own path in life is important too. I believe in the power of love first and foremost, but I know I still have a lot to learn.
