On that note I also feel like the fact I'd need to join a service or app makes me feel pathetic. Like I shouldn't need one to meet people.

It's not like a handicap aid or anything, loads of people use these apps. Just consider it one more way to meet people.

I have a nasty habit of equating the use of these things with desperation and an inability to just casually interact with people. I don't judge anyone for using them but I just feel as though I personally shouldn't, lest I get called "desperate" or "thirsty".

Then again I also frequently feel like I shouldn't have any romantic desire at all so that's my problem.

I hate it when people role play and call it "Medieval" with a role play of pure war, dungeons, wizards, etc. instead of calling it "Fantasy".In medieval times if you were a wizard/witch you were burned. -i find it really hard to look people in the eyes, even if theyre a trusted friend. for some reason, i always find it awkward or i feel like theyll think what im saying is stupid, so when talking to my friends or family, i dont use a lot of eye contact. its worse with strangers though, i CANNOT look someone i havent met before in the eyes.
-ive been told that i subconsciously flirt a lot, and i really dont know how to feel about that. on one hand im pretty okay at flirting but on the other i do it with people i dont intend to and it puts me in awkward positions and makes me a little uncomfortable.

A bit late to the Upgrades thread subject; it's less Buuzer's fault and more people being lazy. Before he went big with his videos people would write up their choices, now they mostly just say if they agree or not, even the ones that did reviews. At this point I try to leave my opinions at the polls because that's the only place people will read them.
