why did this thread get purged

Baro decided to leave the site permanently, and didn't want any of his posts lingering around. So he elected to have his posts purged from the site, including Confessions.

We at darkSpyro wish him the best in his future endeavors.

so the entire thread had to be deleted? what about personal thoughts?

Purging all of his posts means purging all of his threads as well, so there was no way to exclude Confessions. It's a complete wipe of the user's history.

Yes, and in that instance Baro may as well hand pick his posts himself and delete them. This option was presented as an easier alternative.

It would merge with priority for the oldest post(s), so my post would simply be absorbed as one of the newer posts in that old thread. It would be as if I posted in that thread pretending there's a new one.

There is, as of right now, no way to have made an exception to Confessions when purging all of his posts, nor a way to preserve or move every single post in that thread with the exception of the OP.

i dont like goal setting classes, i honestly find them boring and repetitive.

Ripping piece by piece is alao good. I remember psychologist mentioning that physically destroying what you have bottled up helps some people.

I've been eating far more than I used to and it's scary. It's not overeating, I started shaking with hunger in an hour or two after my usual small meals and this sudden change in the metabolism came out of nowhere.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. (I only just noticed this recently, too)

I feel much more comfortable when talking in a group rather than just with one person, even if it's someone I trust. Whenever I talk one-on-one I'm just downright awkward.
