As a right brain I find that unbelievable.

I cured autism with hypnosis, really guys.

well technically it is, but the instant "character looks at a spiral for 10 seconds and gets hypnotized" type seen in the media isn't. and only willing people can be hypnotized, you can't turn them into a zombie slave unless they want to be one.

yeah, they do this thing in criminal investigations, where they hypnotize a witness, to unlock details that the brain hid in the subconscious. i believe they did it to elizabeth smart's little sister but i dont remember.

Yep! The concept of hypnosis is actually quite interesting, because its basically the brains inner mechanisms following its basic order to...well follow orders. It doesn't take away free will at all, its almost like tricking your mind to do things.

I've pulled hypnosis on a couple of people, but with very simple party tricks akin to card tricks. Nothing big or special. That one trick where you ask someone to hold out their index fingers and then you spin your own finger around to close them is a form of hypnosis.
