Trump is unlikely to go to such extremes with Ireland seeing how we're already allies. He's more likely to attempt that sort of thing with Middle Eastern and Asian countries, and even then that's assuming he actually does attempt it (if elected, congress would likely have a very strong leash on him).

Trump is a terrible choice for president but if your fear is that one of his first acts upon getting in is tossing nukes to Ireland in particular, rest assured. He honestly doesn't care enough about your country (never seen him mention you guys).

you understand how the US government is set up right? even if Trump is elected as president, his only role really is too preside over the US. Not have full control over it. Even if Trump wanted to Nuke someone, that would be taken to be voted on and discussed, and even then it'd most likely be a big fat "NO". The US government is specifically set up in a way that prevents the president from having too much power.

As for war, Americans aren't violent people. The best way I can possibly describe how America feels, and has always felt about war is.. You shouldn't mess with us, because we're going to back at you. It's been that way since we won the revolution, which, by the way, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the US has started any wars (not counting the Civil War) we've either been attacked (9/11, WW2, WW1) or we've been asked (Thats why Americans are stationed in South Korea.)

Now, I guess there's the fact that we are allowed to have guns.. here's my stance on gun control, I think it's a necessary evil. You can't possibly expect to protect yourself with a knife if an invader comes into your home with a gun they acquired illegally. You don't bring a knife to a gunfight. You have a right to self defense in this country, if you don't like that or think it's violent, I don't really know what else to tell you.

I just want to point out that you're judging Amercians based on a sterotype. I don't assume that everyone from Ireland is a drunkard Ginger that enjoys fighting and singing. I just don't want war near my home in my lifetime. And I know I shouldn't say violent Americans but know a huge majority is deadset on supporting Trump. Though I am raised to know that violence is wrong, I understand there are some necessary evils we need. Ireland wouldn't have had a better chance to gain independence from the British empire if not for the 1916 Easter Rising. It didn't give us independence but it a catalyst to the war of independence, leading to the Irish Free State, eventually becoming the Republic of Ireland.

Donald Trump said he refuses to rule out using nuclear weapons against Europe. Saying how terrorists could take over and how he won't take his cards off the table and question why make bombs if you're gonna use them. Probably referring to the attacks in Paris as a primary example. This and how Syrian refugees are trying to enter Greece while believing Islamic State agents are hiding among those escaping ISIS. Ireland is a part of the European Union and closest to the USA.

Ireland was forced to fight for the British in WWI, officially neutral in WWII but secretly supported the Allies against the Axis. There's no way in Hell we Irish would even think of going against Britain with the awkward position of Northern Ireland, never mind taking on America. If Trump does threaten us with nuclear missiles, we immediate surrender than risk putting Ireland back 100 years with destroyed civilsations, thousands if not millions of deaths and how it would be impossible to grow anything on soil infected by nuclear radiation.

I don't think America would just let a nuke go off in a highly populated area, like for example, Britain or Paris. For many reasons, one being that civilian casualties would be high. The US military tries to avoid those, plus the UN has policies for Nukes. I'm pretty sure that the UN would be pissed off we tried to nuke allies.
