I'm not thinking of leaving but I'm kinda thinking of dropping the nice act towards some users. After a few bickerings I had taken a stance to just let them do their thing save myself the trouble, but it's clear that they're even worse when someone doesn't think of that. Just like with the elitist jerks in the Skylanders section, I can only be so nice until you start making it worse for everyone around you. THEN, I think it's time I put my sharp tongue to use.

Sad to see you leaving. Since I don't really want to involve myself in drama, the only thing I can do is wish that things change for the better when you come back. I quite agree that sometimes people here can be a bit harsh.

It bothers me when people talk about how they agree that the site is toxic and needs a fixing and tries to rally the troops to fix it, but then do nothing themselves to actually help. They're fine with calling for a change unless it involves them in particular, in which case "well there's not much you can do about it".

Depending on what extent you drop the "nice act" and toward who, you could very well make the problem worse.

From the looks of things, it's only going to get worse if someone doesn't step in and tell them to cut the crap as soon as it starts. Because it's every time. I'm not talking about insults(I don't want to stoop down, THEN it'll get worse), I'm talking about not waiting for the slapfight to unfold.

I tend to refrain from the drama on here, but I agree with you. It is a serious problem.

Of course it's not a problem for you, you instigate the bickering and the drama most of the time by acting incredibly rude to the unwelcome user of the day. I don't think anyone that visits the All-Purpose Pokémon thread misses the fact you're usually the only person trying to get a rise out of Windumup and not stopping when it clearly ran its course. Or when a drama thread didn't explode until you decided to tell them to go cry a river as usual.

There. I did say I'd have to put my foot down. I might as well start now. More is going offtopic on L/R, so I'll leave it at that.

I guess to be fair, some users tried to tolerate and have just chosen now to leave. This place does that to you.

I haven't thought about leaving anytime soon. I may not speak out much, and tend to stay back and avoid drama, and so far, it seems this site is very welcoming torwards me.
