I have that all the time with my art. Make a popular Skylander character though it's a ****ty sketch? Drowned in views. Spend grueling weeks working on a beautiful unpopular Skylander or original picture? I don't exist. Sometimes I wonder what's the good of showing off my watchers in my front page when they clearly ignore half of what I post.

Oh, Different Songs fad in Skylanders is because of BlackRhinoRanger, just like the 'draw everyone with complete disregard for what their faces and colors actually look like' fad that I constantly run into. While he's a cool dude and helps around in the Wiki even, I have NO idea how everything he touches explodes with popularity in the fandom. Maybe at the start when we didn't have many people,but even today with WeirdHyenas' pretty popular AU around?

I feel like it has something to do with the simplicity of the cartoon style that BRR uses in his art. It's copied a lot by younger kids who get inspired by him. As for the music videos, I'm not sure how it got so popular either. I've watched a few before, but everyone usually ends up doing the same songs and stuff.
