The whole point of Skylanders was to make money, do you really think that they would miss out on a chance to make some more money off of nostalgia?

There is if by some miracle Acti turns a blind eye to TFB turning him into Guest Star and a bit down the line trying to do the same as Vicarious Visions and side-developing a standalone game; or if by an even greater one they sell the IPs. But Acti could build a castle with the dead franchises they already bought and are doing nothing with.
