"Good. That's better. Now don't worry. I will return with the fish. Just stay put, and if Jack comes back... whenever he comes back that chimp, remember to tell him to build you the fire." Sybil said, leaving the cave to go to her creek, which was just about eight minutes away walking. And to her luck, there were indeed a couple of stranded fish due to the overflow of water. But they weren't enough for Crocux, so she caught a few more, and since she couldn't carry them by herself, she used the improvised wagon she kept under the roots of her tree to carry the meals and back to the hungry crocodile.

Ruby nodded, and realizing that it was almost Angel's nap time, it was time to put that conversation to an end.
"Well, it seems that somebody needs to sleep soon. And don't worry about Yodel Terrence. We won't let ourselves be manipulated by his words, and we won't let him do it to others either." she said, not wanting him to keep any lingering worries.

Terrence nodded "yea. now lets get Angel to sleep." Angel yawned.

Crocux waited patently. surprisingly Jack came back first. he seemed to have snapped out of it. Crocux told what happened and Jack made a fire using scrap wood and junk carvings he wasn't happy with.

While Ruby helped Terrence put Angel to sleep, Sybil was dragging the wagon with the fish. It was quite hard since the ground was muddy and it made the wagon heavier and harder to drag.
"A crocodile with a cold. Hah, now I've seen everything. What an idiot going on with a cold rain like that!" Sybil said furiously halfway to Crocux's cave, still angry at him for such a stupid move of himself. She knew his intentions were good, but doing something like that was a clear sign of lack of common sense.

Elsewhere at the kea's tree, Mambo couldn't stand the boredom anymore. He usually entertained himself by watching the Haven residents getting tossed around by the orcas, but since the game got cancelled, it was hard for him to find something different to do. The kea's usual activities were boring him, so he decided to go find fun someplace else.
"Cole. Take care of the flock for a little while. I'm going to visit Mr. Crocux and play a little." he said, his bodyguard always being nearby when he was at home. The spunky leader then took his leave, disappearing in the foliage.

while Crocux and Jack waited Jack fell asleep while Crocux tried to stay worm by the fire.

Sybil arrived, glad that the orange light that she saw in the cave was the fire that she was so anxiously waiting.
"I see Jack finally returned." she said in a whisper, after noticing the chimp slumbering in a corner. She then proceeded to put the wagon with different kind of fish in front of Crocux.
"Here you go. All different species for you to try. Knock yourself out. Just... let me go there." Sybil said as she moved further away from Crocux, still having fresh in her memory the way he dangerously lunged at her when she offered him the yellow tail.

Crocux went over to the wagon and started eating. he normally has safe and good table manners unless it's yellowtail. in between mouthfulls Crocux says "thanks aunty, your the best."

"You're welcome Crocux. Glad you liked it. You know you can fish in my creek whenever you want." Sybil said, knowing that Crocux's cave and her tree were relatively close to each other.
"Just don't eat the wagon please. It takes a lot of time building one of those." she then said, as she saw between glances the fascinating fire.

Crocux chuckled "don't worry aunty i don't eat wagons."

"Alright. Then I'll leave it here with you. I need to go somewhere. But if you want me to return later, just say so now." she said, remembering that she had a very important business to attend to, or better said, solve a very heavy issue.

Syris, lays against his big brother's body and falls asleep. The little guy is very tired, but wanted to do some things with his big brother, Saris. Now that it is raining and doing anything outside is not available, he can rest.

Saris smiles at his sleeping little brother. happy that everything's going well.

Crocux says "you can come back to visit if you want. but if you cant I completely understand. besides worst case scenario Jack actually tries being responsible, and the last time that happened." Crocux shudders at the thought. but then says "but I'll be fine."

Marina noticed Jhen near by and could tell something's wrong. she fallows him and tries to approach him to see what's wrong.

Sybil understood what he meant. She didn't trust Jack with responsibility either.
"Well, I'll come back to take care of you later. If Jack wakes up, tell him to prepare me those ear things that drown away sound." Sybil said, as she started to leave the cave. If Crocux remained sick, she knew she would have to spend some nights with him.

Back at AJs home, Sholeh was taking a stroll around the trees, since she didn't want to touch the muddy ground. She was remembering with sorrow how she has been denied so many warblers eggs, and how much she loved them. Unfortunately, the spider nest that was at her tree eerily reminded her of the structure of the warbler's nest, and she was starting to crave some... exactly as Yodel had planned. But fortunately for Sholeh, she had developed more willpower than that, so she took strolls far away from where the warbler population was concentrating now to avoid the temptation.

Jhen sees the young dolphin in his enormous underwater cave and appears beside her. He looks her over for a minute, before returning infront of her. His eyes are aquamarine, but no tears fall down them as he speaks.

"So, you must be the dolphin that everyone has been speaking about. Well I have no problem with your kind, so please come visit me whenever you want. My name's Jhen by the way," he says with a smile. Unknown to the others, Jhen has finally forgave himself for what happened in the past. He has chosen an underwater cave, where both Cairo and Jet know where he is. Also he plans on sneaking up and jumping the two, maybe even playing with them to let them know that.

Meanwhile Royal is conversing with Bonnie. He has come to really enjoy her company. The eagle lives among the warblers to provide protection and aid them in any way he can. Him and Jaerl spend plenty of time with each other as well as with her.

Marina says "my name's Marina and I need to talk to you about Crocux. Crocux has been worried sick about you. I know what happened and he doesn't fear you in fact, he's been looking for you because he want's to play. I saw him sitting out their in the water waiting for you in the cold. I would be surprised if Crocux got sick for being out their so long. look I know you may want to be alone but if Crocux keeps this up he's going to hurt himself."

OOC: I know Bonnie, but I don't remember who controls her. There are so many warblers.

As Sybil left, then came Mambo, who came from another direction due to taking a detour, thus didn't saw Sybil leaving the cave. He was eager to play.
"Oh hey Mr. Crocux. It's been a little while. How have you been scaly? Quite the weather. Sybil isn't in her home, but I'm ready now. I've been working out. I think I can finally lift her up." Mambo said in his quick, exiting voice, and unlike Sybil, entering the cave without asking for an invitation. He was looking forward to play the same game they did at the party, and since he has been following Cole's excercise routine, he felt stronger.

While there was talk around the Haven, Sybil went to the kea's tree to talk to Yodel. It was quite a heavy discussion. Many of the kea's and neighboring warblers could hear it.

"So that loose tongue chimp talked. I knew he wasn't worthy of trust." Yodel said after Sybil scolded him for the bet, with the warbler happy that the bet was off since Jack didn't keep his promise of not telling Crocux about the gamble, since how else Sybil could have known?
"Yodel, you are making this too hard! I know you don't like Crocux, but stop conspiring against him! Don't give him reasons to hate you! I may be patient with you, but he's not that much! If you go too far, I may not be able to help you." Sybil explained, even she losing her patience with him.
"Aww, look at you pretending to be worried about me. I shouldn't be the only one worried you know. I heard from the very same chimp that Crocux threatened you once. Why would he tell me? And what makes you so sure he isn't going to do it again? All because you said something bad about mongooses? Oh my. I certainly hope for your sake that Sholeh doesn't return to her old ways, otherwise you may need to punish her severely and Crocux may defend her. I certainly hope you value your life, cause it's only a matter of time before the beast emerges." Yodel said with a smirk, still thinking Crocux was a monster waiting to wake up under the correct circumstances...

Crocux says "sorry Mambo. *sniff* I can't play. I got sick while I was out looking for Jhen." little did Yodel know that Jack stayed true to his word but Crocux's nose gave it all away.

Mambo sighed at his response.
"I didn't even knew crocodiles could get sick. That's a bummer. It's really boring out here." Mambo said, almost acting like a child that just got denied a toy.
"Well, since I'm here already, might as well enjoy the fire. Fachinating thing it is." Mambo said, getting close to it, and deducing that Jack was the one who did it. He also figured Jhen must have been one of the orcas, but even though he wanted to know why he was searching for an orca in the middle of a storm, it wasn't his business, so he didn't ask.

Sybil still tired to convince Yodel otherwise, but the warbler was even more stubborn than she was, especially since he was convinced that his little gift for Sholeh was going to accomplish his objective.

"Try all you want Sybil. You won't change my opinion. I've had enough tolerating danger as it is with you accepting carnivores like that cat couple, and they can climb trees. But when you accept a reptile that has the guts to insult even you, and that it will only keep growing, then you have gone too far. Why, he has even fed on humans and has gotten away with it. If he is sneaky enough to accomplish that without getting caught by those pests, imagine the damage he could do here. I just hope I'm present the day he attacks you. Don't you think I'm gonna ask for help." Yodel said, really demonstrating his hatred for Crocux. But Sybil simply sighed.
"Why am I even trying? I'm trying to help you. To keep you safe. Crocux is harmless to us, though I doubt he will be harmless to you if you keep conspiring against him." Sybil warned, leaving his home, and tired of discussing the same thing over and over again.

Crocux snezzed and then said "man this is some storm huh?"

"Meh, it was worse earlier. And they are stronger back in my old home." Mambo said, almost as if he was showing off. He was more concerned about Crocux's health.
"Has Miss Sybil given you something for that cold?" he asked, though knowing the civet, she probably did already.

Sybil was already returning to Crocux's cave, extremely disappointing that she couldn't get through to Yodel. She only wished for Crocux to have enough patience with him, since she knew she was going to be able to do anything if Yodel went too far...

Crocux nodded "yea and the stuff tasted terrible."

Mambo smiled, trying to imagine the face Crocux made when he was forced to swallow.
"Oh man, and I missed it." he said, cleary showing his love for the funny. And Crocux didn't have time to said something about it, since Sybil was already on view.
"Hey now. Quiet now. There comes Miss Sybil. And she seems distracted. Should we prank her?" he asked, sounding desperate. He usually got like that during boring days, and since Sybil was walking with her face down and not paying any attention to her surrounding, it was too tempting to let it pass...

Crocux smiled "is that even a question? of corse. you take charge."

"Ooh ooh, here she comes, but my mind is a blank. Should we scare her? Maybe a booby trap? No there's no time for that! What should we do?" Mambo asked as Sybil got closer, ready to welcome any suggestions from Crocux. He was usually a genius when it came to pranks, but in his exitement, he couldn't think of the perfect, quick prank. That opportunity was golden, since it's rare the times Sybil is that distracted...

Crocux smiled "fallow my lead." he then yelled "how dare you insult me like that! just because i'm sick doesn't mean i'm weak! AHCHOO!!"

Mambo gave a satisfying smirk, knowing where he was going with that. He then changed to a grumpy look.

Sybil was about to enter the cave when she heard what Crocux just said.
"Hmm, I suppose Jack woke up and is teasing Crocux. He never learns." she said to herself, thinking that the one who irritated him was Jack, but when she entered the cave, she could see it was not the chimp at all.

"Well gosh Toothy! Who ever heard of a crocodile who gets sick? That's just so pathetic! Here I am looking for someone to talk to, and all you do is sneeze. For such a big crocodile, you're such a whimp!" Mambo said in a sassy tone, pretending to be disappointed in Crocux and giving off an excellent performance.

Crocux gave an irritated look "alright that's it! you're dead!" Crocux opened his mouth wide and judging by apperences ate Mambo. he did the same trick as out in the water but this time spat Mambo out acting like Mambo tasted bad. now all Mambo had to do was play dead.

Mambo simply stayed put, almost as if he understood what Crocux wanted him to do. But Sybil simp,y glared at the two of them. And she was not happy.
"Man, you guys got some nerve! You think I'm falling for that again!?" she said, looking at Mambo, but one look at his chest, and Sbil knew he was breathing.
"You can stop pretending now Mambo. Your lungs gave you away." she said with her eyes half closed, certainly already use to it.

Mambo knew it was no use to continue pretending, and cleaning himself, he approached Crocux.
"Well Mr. Crocux. I think we are losing our touch." he said disappointed, as he looked at a crossed Sybil sitting in a corner, not knowing whether to laugh at their failed joke or be angry at them for trying the same trick again.

Crocux says "three... two... one..." then one of Jack's stink bombs falls right on Sybil. Crocux bursts out laughing and coughing with the accasional sneeze.

Sybil just remained stoically put, and then, it was clear that she was angry.
"Come on! I took a bath twice!" she said, as she left the cave to get cleaned up.

Mambo seemed down looking at her.
"Well, she is cranky all of the sudden. I wonder what's up with her. She is usually very open when it comes to practical jokes." Mambo said as he looked at the retreating Sybil, missing her cheerful side.

Meanwhile-- Sayan and Rose stayed safe and dry from within their den. Sayan kept an eye-- just in case their 'friend' decided to show up again.

"Nothing yet.," Sayan said with a sigh.

Sholeh meant to return home, but she felt that she needed some help. As disturbing as it sounded, that stupid spider nest reminded her of warbler, and it made her angry that such a pathetic display made her feel that way. She was craving for some, but instead of giving up to temptation, she went to Sayan's den to look for Rose. Sholeh still believed that Sybil hated her, so she felt the only way she could turn to that had a lot of authority in the Haven was Rose herself, the one who allowed her to live there in the first place. Crocux had some authority, but she didn't feel comfortable with him despite his fondness for mongooses.

"Hey... is... the tiger... somewhere?" Sholeh asked Sayan, not being rude, but evidently not being formal either. That was the very first time she ever visited Sayan's den, and the first time she visited either big cats by will.

Crocux says "uh aunty, only Jack know how to AHCHOO get rid of the stink. *sniff*" Jack was already awake "okay Aunty let's go get you cleaned up." he grabbed a wooden statchue that looked like Yodel, (a startaling resemblence actually) and a vial containing a purple liquid of some kind, and walked off with her to get rid of the smell.

Mambo helped by pushing Sybil back to the cave. She didn't like the idea, but she really wanted to get that irritating smell off her.
"Why does..." Sybil said, almost asking about the statue, but decided to leave it be since she wasn't in the mood.
"Never mind. I don't want to hear it." she then said, remaining silent.

Mambo looked to the sides as she got cleaned up, and when it was done, he just had to ask.
"Come on Miss Sybil. What's wrong? You're not usually this cranky. Is it because we aren't adding variety in our pranks?" Mambo said, as always, wanting to look at the bright side of things.
"I don't know. Maybe it's the rain." Sybil excused, lying on her true worry.
"Well, if you say so. I don't feel that way, except with boredom. Though I have heard rain has that effect on some." Mambo commented, choosing to believe her. Now that he was calmer, he was thinking on what other activities could be done, since he was still bored.

Jack says "well I need to head out. oh by the way if you want to see the statcues I've been working on they're over their." he pointed at the spot as he left. Crocux says "Jack carves wood as a hobby. he's very good at it. he mainly does liknesses of others so if they look familier that's probably because they are." and true to it their was a carving of nearly everyone in haven with the exception of haunted, marine animals and Ravage.

"Well, he has a lot of work to do if he's considering the warblers. There are many of them." Sybil said, almost saying that some of them looked like Yodel, then again, she wasn't in the mood to talk about him, not to mention that many of the warblers looked alike anyways.

"Well, first things first. He better keep those wodden statues away from the fire." Mambo said after Jack left, pushing the carvings further away from the fire.
"The only thing we keas carve is the board we use to play Beetle Bash. But I'm so tired of playing it. It has become so dull at home. Here I was looking forward to another game with Crocux since the orcas cancelled their game. Which by the way Miss Sybil, I've been working out with Cole, so I'm pretty sure I can lift you up completely this time." Mambo said with a smirk, and Sybil had a very good idea in where he was going with that.

"Oh no! Not the dragging again! I've had enough of that at the party." Sybil said, knowing the fun Mambo had back then.
"Well sheesh Miss Sybil. You get dragged along by the orcas all the time. I deserve a little fun too. Besides, Mr. Crocux is already good at running, but how is he at jumping? I've heard that crocodiles can impulse themselves from the water. Maybe we can try it in the wetland sometimes. I would love to see that." Mambo said excitedly, clearly having done some research. Sybil however, wasn't liking playing the guinea pig to satisfy Mambo's somewhat sadistic curiosity, not to mention that Crocux always got into a much more playful mood whenever the parrot was around.

ooc: well i also forgot to exclud most of the Warblers since their were only a few made in the likness of Yodel.

Crocux sighed "yea but we- AHCHOO! we can't do that because I'm sick aunty.*sniff* now lets see, ah look over here aunty, it's all of the Haven's leaders. probably some of Jacks best work. the one of you looks like it's about to come alive."

"Oh well, perhaps later." Mambo said, but Sybil pretended not to hear him since she went to see the carvings. Jack must have really been obsessed with it, since there were plentry of them.
"Oh, by the way Jack, remember to give me those ear things that drown away sound. I'm going to stay here tonight again." she said, still not trusting the chimp to take care of things alone.

"I'm right here." Rose said. "What do you need?" Rose was surprised to see Sholeh requested her.

"Ugh..." Sholeh grunted, hating to admit that she needed help.
"Listen, is there any abandoned warbler eggs or is Terrence is adopting it too? This is driving me crazy." Sholeh said, almost sounding like a maniac. She didn't want to return to that frenzy, but her instincts were too great, and the only willpower she had was admitting it.

Crocux looks around and says "you just missed him. don't though I know where he keeps them."

Jack made good time and arrived to the kea tree to talk to Yodel. "hey Yodel, you home?"

"YOU!" Yodel said with a voice full of disturbing hatred.
"You know the bet is off, right? Sybil came to me and gave me one of her annoying lectures." he said to the chimp, grinning to the fact that he was going to be unable to clip his wings due to the broken promise.

"No, it alright Mambo. I can do this. Besides, Jack sleeps here as well. I can count on him when he returns." Sybil said, not really trusting Jack with responsibility but wanting Mambo to leave in fear that he may try to pull a nasty prank while she slept.

Mambo kinda knew why she wanted him to leave, and surprisingly, he didn't object. But before he left, he waited for Sybil to turn her back and whispered to Crocux.
"I'll run a list of pranks for the future Mr. Crocux. Miss Sybil is getting harder to nail." he said in his low voice, looking forward with some fun with Crocux as soon as he got better.

Sholeh was a bit in shock that Rose accepted that offer, but she didn't say anything on the matter, so she simply waited for Rose to return...

"Be careful out there. It.. it may still be a little wet.," Sayan warned cautioning Rose-- both to the wet soil and to the other potential threat. He nodded, indicating he would keep an eye on Sholeh and the surroundings in the meanwhile.

Crocux smiled and nodded before he sneezed.

Jack was surprised "WHAT!? but that's impossible! I didn't say or do a thing to get him to know any better. unless-" upset Jack yells "THAT OVER GROWN SCALED CHEATER!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM!!! OH HE'S IN FOR THE PRANKING OF HIS LIFE WHEN HE GETS BETTER! THAT SNEAK!!"

But Yodel wasn't buying his supposed lie.
"Oh stop making excuses tattle tail! I know you told him! And if you didn't, those stupid statues you made were certainly going to give it away. But who cares now? Being your fault or not, this still means the bet is off! Which means you will leave my wings alone! Now get your irritating presence off my property!" Yodel yelled with malice, ordering Jack to get out of his home immediately.

Sholeh layed down, knowing that Sayan would stop her if the temptation became too overwhelming.
"Ugh! Can you believe it? A spider nest made me crave for warbler eggs. I didn't even knew spiders could make nest that fast." Sholeh said, trying to find conversation to keep her mind off everything.

"You would be surprised.," Sayan said not knowing the exact circumstances of the spider nest. "We don't have much in the way of eggs here, but we do have a small supply of fish if you're interested.," he then said hoping to ease the tension of Sholeh.
Keeping a fish or two nearby was an old habbit... and one that came in handy at times.

"Fish!? Yuck! Who told you I eat fish? I've been limited to berries, lizards and insects... thanks to certain animals who denied my natural instincts." Sholeh said with a sneaky look, demonstrating that she still hasn't entirely forgiven the Haven residents who forbade her to eat the precise food that she loved so much.

"Sorry... I was just trying to be helpful.," Sayan said almost forgetting about the deal. "I believe there are some berries nearby though-- others have snacked on them before.," he then added.
