Sybil remained near Terrence's tree, giving one final stroll. But even though it was now Crocux's turn, she remained there, imagining that Crocux wasn't going to show up due to wanting to find Jhen.

Only one hour before noon, and there was no luck finding Jhen.
"Well Mr. Crocux, I warned you. We have ventured the Haven waters like, three times now and still no sign of Jhen. I'm starting to believe Jhen has a hiding place outside the territory." Cairo said a bit worriedly, knowing how hard it was to keep Jhen in one place and that if what he said was the case, he could get in trouble. He would have sent somebody to keep an eye on him, but Cairo was one to respect privacy, not to mention that was Jet's job.

Crocux nodded sadly "your right. I should go. Sybil's waiting for me." and started to head back.

Shi says "why did you interrogate her? You know as well as anyone that if she needed something it would be to make aresedent happy so why the sudden intrest in her motives?"

Terrence was keeping Angel company while Ruby was gone. He was busy trying to teach the kid how to speak and was failing.

Meanwhile, Sholeh still hasn't woken up. She was moving more vigorously in her sleep, indicating that she was finally recovering her strength, but it was still going to be a while before she could fully recover of her ordeal yesterday.

"Yeah. Sorry you couldn't find poor Jhen. But I'll make sure to deliver your message as soon as I see him." Cairo assure as he escorted the crocodile back to shore. He knew the search was going to be futile, since he hasn't seen Jhen in a week.

Sybil was waiting for Crocux, keeping the rabbit fresh until his arrival. She wondered if it was a good idea to insist so much on him trying meat, but already promised herself she wasn't going to pester Crocux anymore if he still wanted to keep on fish.

Crocux smiled "thanks Cairo." once he reached the beach "well i need to get going, later Cairo." and Crocux headed into the forest towards Terrences tree.

Sybil paced around for a little bit, chasing a few bettles as she waited for Crocux. Then the rustling of leaves made her believe that was probably Crocux finally coming.
"Hey, Crocux, is that you?" she said, trying to pinpoint his location. Even when not trying, Crocux was very good at hiding himself in that thick foliage, and combined with the fact that Sybil couldn't see color very well, she wanted to make sure the crocodile wasn't ambushing her to play her a prank...

Crocux says "yes aunty it's me. Sorry I'm late. I couldn't find Jhen anywere."

Shi relaxes and says "oh well it's just that your tone suggested otherwise."

"Oh, sorry to hear that. He has been very withheld lately. He needs more time." Sybil said, knowing Jhen well.
"He'll get through. You'll see." she then said, having faith in the orca. But now that Crocux was there, she got to the point.
"Anyway, look Crocux. I got Sozen to get this for you. I know it's a big change from fish, but I want you to try it anyway. If you don't like it, I promise I won't bother with your diet anymore." she said shyly, showing him the rabbit. She wanted Crocux to have a more varied diet to have him healthy, but wasn't going to force him if he still wanted to continue on fish alone.

Rose stirred smelling the fish. She woke up with a yawn. "Good morning love."

"Morning.,"Sayan said nosing a fish near Rose. "I thought I would let you sleep in a little... and I've brought breakfast.," he then said knowing they would most certainly need it for later.

The rabbit was already gone though "uh aunty what am i supposed to see?"

Shi smiled "of corse I'd love to you handsom devil."

Sybil looked at the spot where she left the rabbit, and it was in fact empty.
"Wait. I don't understand it! It was... here!" Sybil said confused, looking if there were footprints. Was the rabbit alive? Or did Warren couldn't resist the temptation.
"There was a rabbit here for you Crocux. I know it!" Sybil said, feeling like she had disappointed Crocux. She really wanted to see his reaction when he saw it.

Sybil could see how how nervous Crocux was, so she thought she probably knew what was going on.
"Wait... did you just... ate the rabbit that was here?" she asked, in response of his attitude.

Crocux nodded and laughed nervously "you see thing is rabbits are more of a snak to me then a meal. Sometimes i eat them without realizing it."

Shi smiled, she couldn't help but to admir Sozen, his strong wings, sleek black feathers, tramendous strangth and the ability to to control such strangth so well he doesn't accedentally hurt his friends. Shi didn't even realise she was staring. Sure she did it every now and then but she tried to keep them descret.

Sybil smiled, then chuckled, when it became evident that she was holding her need to chortle loudly.
"Man, you really are silent. Here I was anxious to give you a surprise and it turns out you already took advantage of it without me realizing it! You really are full of surprises." Sybil said with a wide smile, still disappointed to have been unable to see his reaction, but happy nonetheless.
"Well, I hope you liked it. I had Sozen get it for me and had Warren carry it here just for you. Rabbits in that mountain are extremely common, but very hard to see and catch nonetheless." Sybil explained, willing to continue bringing Crocux rabbits if he wanted to.

Crocux smiled with realefe "thanks aunty. You really-" suddenly eats a lizard "wanna spoil me don't you?" swallowing the whole lizard in one go.

Sybil was impressed how tenacious Crocux was, and was very happy to have him by her side.
"Well of course. You have done so much for me and this Haven. It's kinda depressing how I can't do much with this puny size." Sybil said, showing her spite in being unable to do more. She then saw him vigorously gobbling up the lizard and realized he must still be hungry.
"Still eating I see. We still have time before noon. If you want anything else, just name it." she said, realizing that Crocux was right. She has grown used to spoiling him.

Crocux realized he was still eating and blushed "i didn't realize i was still eating sorry. Aunty your size makes you awsome, you can get into small places that i can't fit in, you can climb trees, hell you've even founded the place everyone here calls home. No thank you for your food offer, if i eat to much i can't join in the games and that's no fun."

"Well, maybe you're right. But it would be great if I could be at least Sayan's size. He's big, but not that big. And about the founding, well, that was just dumb luck and a lot of help." Sybil admitted, knowing that Haven wouldn't even existed if it wasn't for the native birds and the mighty orcas.
"Well anyway, it's almost time for the game. You'll have to let me know if I need to be careful on land." Sybil asked, knowing that she was probably still going to be unable to avoid him.

Crocux says "i mostly only do it on the orcas off days so you shpuldn't worry."

Sybil was kinda relieved to hear that, and since she believed Crocux was still hungry, she let him be.
"Well, alright Crocux. I'll leave you your space now. See you later." she said, turning to leave...

But the orca game wasn't going to be on that afternoon for many reasons that afternoon; first, the orcas didn't see any sharks today, so they celebrated with a feast and most of them were in pain due to over-eating, second, they believed the Haven residents and themselves needed more time to rest, and third, the sky was turning an intense shade of grey, indicating there was going to be a thunderstorm. Cairo volunteered to go to the shore and let whoever approached first know that the game was going to be cancelled for today.
"Oh, by the way guys, if anyone sees Jhen, please tell him to see me." he said, not wanting to miss that orca again for Crocux's sake.

"It looks like it might rain.," Sayan said looking up at the sky as they stretched and ate.

Sybil reached the beach without distractions, and could see Cairo waiting, not being sneaky at all.
"Hey Cairo. Is something wrong?" she said, but from a distance just in case it was a trick. He then explained everything minus his companion's stomachache, since they had a pride to maintain.
"Oh, that's a little bummer. But I think it's for the best indeed." Sybil said, knowing they could all use the rest. She then looked at the sky and it was so dark that it looked like late afternoon.
"You better go home miss Sybil. It looks like it's going to be quite a downpour." Cairo suggested, and almost as if he was beckoning it, the merciless rain started. Sybil bid a quick farewell to Cairo and headed to the forest, but she was already soaking wet.

She wanted to head home, but believed she should let Rose and Sayan know the game was off. Shaking herself along the way, she reached Sayan's den, only to find the couple eating.
"Hey guys. Enjoy your meal. Just came here to tell you that the game is off today. The orcas still need to rest from yesterday." she let them know, acting as if they were the tough ones. It was impossible looking all wet and silly.

OOC: Sorry my friends, I've been really waging a tough fight with depression.

Jhen is nowhere to be found. Nor does he want to be found. He is going distant from everyone, after it happened. It is not impossible to find him, but extemely difficult. He keeps moving from one place to the next, drawing closer to the danger zone. Once that is overcome, he may just leave all together.

AJ: I am safely and comfortably within my warm, dry nest. The falling rain creates a soothing melody that gives myself and my friend, as well as my guest, Sholeh, the sense of peace, we want. An adorable yawn can be heard from within my nest.

OOC: It's alright. Post only if you can. We understand.

After giving Rose and Sayan the news, Sybil could see the former was distracted with the weather and the fish.
"Well, I did my duty here. You two behave. With rain like this, I'm going home." Sybil said, imagining those two wanted time alone. She use to spend a lot of time with them individually, but ever since they became a couple, she had interacted less with them to give them time for themselves. At least she still had Crocux to interact with, even though it could become tough when it was time to play.

Sybil left the den, willing to take a little nap with a downpour like that. Even though the foliage made an excellent shelter, there were still cold raindrops from the canopy. She headed home, but then decided she was going to visit little Angel for a while, and believing that Crocux was either with Marina or hunting, she hoped she didn't have to tell him about the cancelled game...

Sybil returned momentarily before disappearing out of view to answer Rose.
"Nah, that's quite alright Rose. I already got wet, so it really wouldn't make sense if I soak the den." Sybil explained, knowing how clean it was kept always.
"Don't worry about me. I'll just visit Terrence for a while and then head home, and if you want, we can do something later in the afternoon, if the rain had stopped by that time." Sybil suggested, knowing that rain like that was unpredictable, and that their options were going to be limited due to the soggy soil. She wanted to do something though, since it has been a while since she had interacted with either Rose or Sayan.

Shi couldn't hid a blush from him "oh just admiring what an amazing guy you are, both your personality and your appearance are amazing I honestly can't tell which is better."

OOC: It's already raining, unless the cloud still hasn't reached there.

Sybil left Sayan's den for real, letting Rose to plan on what they could do together and promising she will return later in the afternoon.

Hoping she wouldn't run into Crocux, she reached Terrence's tree, and called for the mongoose.
"Her Terrence! Are you up there? I want to see the little angel!" she called from above, though having a hard time keeping the droplets of water from falling off her face...

Terrence came out "oh Sybil, just a minute" a ladder made of vines came down "go ahead and climb up. I haven't seen Ruby in awhile so I think it's best just to play it safe and have you come up."

Shi nodded "your right, lets go Sozen"

Crocux however was going to do something pretty stupid. he could see the clouds and got into the water. he started to swim out and wait for Jhen by the danger zone, he knew it was a long shot but he had to try something.

Dagger, who was with Cairo nearby wanting to get some pointers on how to be a leader when the time comes, could see Crocux nearby.
"Hey Mr. Cairo. Isn't that the crocodile with the dolphin friend?" the youngster asked, signaling to him.
"My, so it is. I don't think he heard about the game being cancelled. Wait here young Dagger. I'll go have a little talk with him and then return." he said, as Dagger submerged himself to avoid the annoying water of the rain.

Cairo swam towards Crocux, very carefully to avoid startling him.
"Mr. Crocux? What are you doing here? Didn't miss Sybil told you the game got cancelled? If it is your dolphin friend you're searching for, I think I saw her near the little island surrounded by the Impossible current." Cairo said, believing it was Marina the one he was searching for.

Sybil was very grateful for the ladder, since the last time she climbed Terrence's tree, she almost broke a claw.
"Hey Terrence. It has been a little while. How is the little tyke?" she asked, and then looked behind him to see that Angel has really grown indeed.
"Oh look at that. He's even growing his feathers." Sybil said proudly, seeing how he was already growing mature feathers. Warblers really grew fast.

ooc: he's only recently developed fledgling fluff

Terrence says "Sybil you silly civet, those are his fledgling feathers, but he has grown, I was just trying to teach him how to-" "Dada" Terrence spun around and looked at the kid in surprise and finished what he was saying "talk" Angel said "dada" again. Terrence smiled and a tear came to his eyes "he just said his first word."

OOC: Thought it was a more rapid grow. Anyway, remember Crocux and Cairo.

Sybil smiled, finding it unbelievable how opportune she was for arriving there at that very moment.
"Well what do you know?" she said, having faith that the warblers were now going to love Terrence now and forget about the awfully rocky start they had with him.
"This will be the talk of the year among the other warblers. And now that Sholeh is softening her heart, perhaps she can learn a thing or two from you." she then said, having hope for her.

Speaking of her, Sholeh was barely opening her eyes, barely remembering her ordeal from yesterday. When she looked outside, she could see it was raining hard, almost like hail, so there was no point in getting out. She was too hungry though, but not wanting to get wet, she had to settle with a small cluster of lizards AJ has gotten her.

ooc: I don't know really, the closest thing I had to raising birds were 3 baby robins, sadly with no idea how to take care of them properly they died a few days after we took them in.

Crocux says "actually I most likely wasn't told yet but that's not why I'm out here."

Terrence nodded "maybe" he went to give the little guy a hug feeling so proud of the little Angel.

OOC: We should really research birds more. And about Ruby, I keep forgetting it is me who has controlled of her. It's complicated with so many characters.

"Oh? Not for the dolphin then? If you're looking to tease some of my fellow orcas toinvite the to play, well, likeI said, you're wasting your time. We're kinda on strike at the moment, but guarantee that tomorrow, we'll be full of vitality." Cairo assured, not being able to assume the real reason he was there.

"I can't wait for him to fly. Now that the Haven is at peace again, we can introduce him to a splendid world." Sybil said with a lot of hope, wanting to burrow the rumors of the big predator roaming. She was about to leave when Ruby came in, soaking wet like Sybil herself.
"Whew! It's really coming down! That's it! This is the last time I go to a warbler convention if rain is going to catch us!" Ruby said shaking, clearly hating being wet. The sky had been grey for a while, but nobody expected the rain to come that suddenly.

Ooc: it's okay.

Terrence got out of the hug and said exitedly "Ruby you just missed it! Angel said his first word!"

Crocux chuckled "well Cairo as tempting as it sounds no that's not why ether. But it does involve a member of the pod."

"Oh really? Darn it all! I knew I shouldn't have gone to that silly convention." Ruby said, very annoyed.
"Oh well, you can't wish for perfection. But you'll hear him talk eventually. That's what counts." Sybil said, trying to encourage her.
"Well, I'm off. It was nice seeing you guys again. I'll go home before the rain gets any worse." Sybil said, preparing to leave the tree. The sky looked like it was harboring lightning, so it was best to be in her own home before the lightning began.

Cairo took a while to deduce it, but he finally realized what particular member Crocux meant. There was no other explanation.
"Mr. Crocux, don't tell me you are still waiting for Jhen?" Cairo asked, not believing Crocux was still insistent on that matter.
"Crocux, I already told you, Jhen needs more time. Why, I had the entire pod on the lookout for him, but it seems like he is nowhere to be found. I'm starting to think he is not in the Haven waters anymore, so I'll have to send a search party for him." Cairo then said, believing now Jhen went into hiding. It was impossible for him to still be in the territory and nobody has seen him.

Terrence nodded "okay, bye Sybil" Angel said "dada" again.

Crocux says "well i think he's still in Haven waters. In fact I'm planning on intercepting him before he leaves"

"You see? I told you he will repeat it." Sybil said to a smiling Ruby, finally being able to speak, but she was still upset to have gone to a convention that went nowhere and only manage to get her soaking wet.

Cairo was tired of trying to bring Crocux to his senses, so he decided to leave him be.
"Fine. Search for him if you want. But I'm telling you, you are being stubborn in the matter. Jhen doesn't even interact with us, his family. I will send search parties only to see where he is, but if he doesn't want to come back, we'll leave him alone. We orcas respect each other's spaces." Cairo explained, believing that it was best to leave someone alone than try to console.
"And besides, searching him in this insane rain is going to make it even harder." Cairo warned, seeing how the raining water was limiting the view of everything. He admired Crocux's tenacity, but it was getting annoying.

Crocux said "I know, but Jhen needs to know that I'm not afraid of him after what happened, i know what he's going through, when i was younger i needed my space all the time just like you orcas, but dad wouldn't have any of it, he knew when to give me space and when to bug me, something like this is one of the things he wouldn't leave me alone about. I wont let a little rain stop me."

Cairo shook his head and sighed, knowing Crocux was still going to be at it.
"Alright, have it your way, I already warned you. And if you get pneumonia for being out in this cold rain, don't come complaining to us!" Cairo said sternly, swimming away to meet with Dagger and left Crocux alone. If he couldn't get a clue, Cairo was done trying to persuade him to give up.

Ruby remained with Terrence, getting shelter from that terrible rain. A few thunderstorms could be heard far away.
"Hear that. Thunder and all. Go on Terrence. You better bundle up Angel. I don't want him to be afraid to go outside when the time comes." Ruby suggested, knowing that the fear of thunder and lightning was too common and could give the little one a bad impression of the outside world.

Sybil in the meantime, returned to her tree, her paws soaking wet with mud. She saw how the grass that Whirlpool planted around her home has survived the move, and with a rain like that, it was bound to grow fast. As she settled, she wondered where Crocux has gone to, since she didn't saw him along the way...

Terrence nodded and started gathering soft warm materials and added them to Angel's bed, he stayed next to the little guy to make him feel safe. but he wasn't scared of the storm if anything he was curious as to what was making the sound and wanted to see it. he even went as far as to try to get up. but Terrence stopped him knowing that he was far from ready.

Crocux modded and went ahead. he knew his ansestors servived extintion millions of years ago back when a meteor hit the planet. he peoceded to an area when he believed Jhen would show up at.
