Apparently the Skylanders Imaginators general discussion topic was NOT the appropriate place to put this. But anyways, I thought it was ok. The original movie was incredible, but this was ok.

The only good thing about it was Matt Berry.

Spongebob in general is vastly overrated. Then again, this is coming from someone who finds most comedy-oriented media boring (and I certainly can't see Spongebob as anything else, because it's not like it has any action and the characters are wholly unrealistic and predictable).

Don't get me wrong, I do like a few episodes and the first movie (I never saw 2), but some people act like it's the best cartoon series ever... ***** please, it's not even the best of its decade, not even close.

Then again, maybe this is a case of Seinfeld is Unfunny for me- part of the reason I don't care about most of Spongebob is that I've seen other stuff do the same kind of humor, in my opinion, better... While also offering more than just that... But maybe Spongebob's style was more fresh at the time.

It used to be much better. Don't watch anything after season 4.

Seasons 1-3 were fantastic. They have a wide audience which you don't get with many cartoons. Some of the episodes from the first couple of seasons are funnier to me now than they were as a kid.

Can we get back on topic so I can fangirl over Matt Berry?
