When you tell a cat person that you're a dog person, they're like "oh cool! I like dogs too!" but when you tell most dog people you're a cat person they get all like, "yo how could you a cat burned down my house, stole all my possessions and murdered my entire family how could you do this to me and like cats yo"

My aunt used to have a really adorable cat, looked a bit like mine even. However, even before the cat died, I could not talk about cats in the vicinity of my uncle. He'll not shut up about how they hate you and only love their territory and are the worst pets ever, to the point I just avoid talking to him bout animals to begin with or he'll whine about cats.
Of course the cat hates you if you smoke a ton and have no concept of petting or playing with an animal with anything other than fetch, or complete inability to train any of your dogs to the point they'd annoy him nonstop

I'm a dog person, but cats are alright.

I know what spraying is. I know what causes it. I still dislike cats for other reasons though.

I like cats. They're kind of like me in that they can't be pressured to stay anywhere they don't want to. Dogs just follow, and that's what I try to avoid.

I just find that cats are more suited to my personality. I'm very much the type of person who enjoys independence and being left to it with attention and affection here and there. I find dogs (well I find most terrifying) overly clingy and demanding hence why I don't like them as much as cats. I like some dogs, but love all cats

But people think they can just buy a puppy, throw it in their 3 by 3 yard, then never interact with them ever again. Just let them bark at everybody who walks passed, constantly disturbing the neighbors, and attack people when they get out. It's all good.

like, dogs need a lot of space, attention and training. puppies are a lot of work and require time and patience.

i also hate ppl who return puppies after they grow up into dogs. like. you're an asshole and i have no respect for you if you do that

This site comes off as a bit insane.

Protecting wildlife is important, however promoting cat euthanasia even as an option is not the right way to go about it and is just going to cause anger. Owners need to take measures such as getting bell collars for their pets, keeping them in at certain times of the day, taking time to play with their cat, etc. The blame also shouldn't just be on cats, dogs are also a big threat to wildlife left unchecked. So instead of trying to get rid of all cats like stated on that site, we should instead strive to promote more knowledge about owning cats/dogs in general, as well as enforce stricter penalties for those who don't take these extra measures.

Me? I like dogs and cats, my dad is allergic but that doesn't mean that I am or I don't like them. I like both though I am more of a dog person it DOES NOT mean I don't like cats BTW I'm getting a dog in a year (I think I said that like 3, 4 months ago?) If you want to know we're probably getting a German Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd, or maybe a Norwegian Elkhound at this point
