Something tells me Dreamworks doesn't even want to be doing this.

I mean for the longest time they maintained the 4th film as being the last one, and the moment they get bought by Comcast they announce there's going to be a Shrek 5?

Clearly even the mega popular Minions aren't enough for Comcast to be satisfied. They need Dreamworks to dig up their most successful franchise from the grave, even though they're busy and successful enough with Kung Fu Panda and HTTYD.

I don't have problem with it just because this and How to Train Your Dragon 3 are their only sequels up to 2019.

So I will just wait and see if it turns out good.
