Not sure if there's been a topic like this so do any of yall have tattoos? Or do you plan on getting any?

I have a starfish on my wrist I got to commemorate a beach trip with some friends, but I have a bunch more planned. My next is going to be Reptar on my upper thigh. (/_\)

well i don't think i will get a tatto but if i ever do, but i saw this guy with really cool stars all over his arm (literally just star shapes of different like "transparencies"). I'd like stars...

always wanted to get hand tattoos of some sort kinda like what grimes has

i might get tattoos at some point since they're p neat when well done

my mum absolutely hates them but hey; all the reason to spite her!

I don't have any, but I do want the Flash's symbol tattooed on my right inner forearm, just below the elbow joint. It'd be just a small color piece. He's always been among my favorite superheroes, so I think it'd be pretty cool. I'd hope to get it done fairly soon.

I've also considered getting tattoos on my shoulders, since shoulder pieces can be big and detailed but easy to conceal or show off (by wearing a tank top). Not really sure what I'd get, though. My ideas range from dragon to werewolf to peacock; anything I'd get would be in color and would probably be realistic or illustrative in style. But if I do decide to get something on my shoulders, it definitely won't happen anytime soon. My friend is hoping to be a tattoo artist and she's an absolutely amazing artist, so I think I'm going to wait until she's ready so I can get them from her.

My shoulders and that one little piece on my forearm are the only places I'd want to get a tattoo tbh. Tattoos can look awesome, but I don't want to be covered in them, and I don't want to get them in any places that would always be hidden unless I'm in a swimsuit because that doesn't happen often enough for it to be worth the money and pain (places like the back and ribs). I'd consider tattoos on my legs but I'd rather do my shoulders.

tbh i'd totally get a tattoo of judas he's just that important to me lol (when im older and it's legal obv)
i'd probably have it on the back of my shoulder

i only really want tattoos for stuff that means something to me (i.e. both overwatch and fire emblem got me out of pretty deep depressive states) so i want stuff like that but since i want to be a teacher i cant really have them on my arms or anything but i want:

-overwatch symbol on upper back
-brand of the exalt somewhere
-a devil ray somewhere

I want to get covered head to toe in brown minions and Overlords and Gnarls.

I have a weird love hate relationship with tattoos, because I always think about what kind I would want yet I know I'll probably never get one.

They're pretty expensive and a huge commitment, plus they can hurt depending on where you want them.

But I would LOVE a watercolor style tattoo. I learned recently that there's two meanings for this, because apparently there's water diluted ink that is considered "watercolor". It's to give faded looks on tattoos.

I actually mean the tattoos that simply look like they were painted with water colors, but they are actually quite vibrant.


Something like this? Maybe the name of a future kid or a seal or something idk.

it's red with some blue behind it, it's kinda supposed to be a fish i had as a child

When I turn 17 I'm going to get "cut it out and then restart" in some sort of pattern on my left upper arm. It's a line from a Florence+The Machine song, Shake It Out, and it means renewing yourself and leaving your old, flawed, regretful self behind. I have so, so many flaws and regrets that I need to just shake off and move on.
