See i was planning on throwing away Castlevania Portrait of Ruin because charlotte had upper knee stockings, and i assumed Japan added that for fetish reason... But... actually historically it was considered indecent to not wear stockings during WW2, the thing is this game IS actually during WW2, so its actually historically correct to have it. So it might not have anything to do with it for fetish reason but more trying something new, even some women painted fake stockings, it was that important back then. So thank god that saves me, i mean sure some may have, but its likely a style back then and not what we consider it now. So likely fashion. So i luckily had an excuse for not throwing this game away, besides the soundtrack is amazing!



But here is the sources i got it from. I mean its pretty weird how so much riots could happen over some stockings. But the fact is back then you'd been seen as indecent if you didnt. So thats pretty much a savior for my christian lifestyle while playing this game.

Just wondering your views?
