There's actually a very blurry line between flaming/trolling/hate speech and simple right winged political opinions. But some examples are more clear than others and it still helps to report anyway if you aren't unsure. Worst case scenario one of us looks over it and rejects the report, deciding that it isn't breaking any rules. But even then we've read the contents of the thread when we otherwise may not have, and if it's particularly prone to an issue we can follow the thread and see if it escalates to a further degree like this one has.

Also the 'it's my opinion' card is not a defense against being called out or criticized so even if he's being completely legitimate in all his threads, it's not something he can use.

Do remember though that when it veers into actual hate speech or oppression it definitely warrants at least a time out.

Let's not forget that mods don't possess world ending two week suspension or lifetime ban powers. We can and will deal out suspensions of like two hours to two days for certain cases.

I dunno man, I'm a Muslim and I'm not sure if me being peeved about him saying stuff about Islam makes me thin-skinned. I'm not defending everything he says. Some things he says are kinda eh and those instances have been handled accordingly. Other things, not so much. Your case is another animal and I apologize for what he said about Muslims (I wasn't aware of this one)but a lot of what he says is just opinionated flab. And there isn't anything wrong with genuinely believing in something you disagree with, that's where you debate/ask questions regarding why they think that way.

I think the issue stems from the frequency at which he posts stuff. A topic could be going fine and dandy before a bizarre text filled rant that seems to be written while under the influence of mescaline. The fact that he continues to flog a dead horse isn't funny, it just detracts from the overall quality of the thread and exasperates a ton of users. I mean, you can always just ignore him, but that begs the question as to why something like this is prevaient in the first place. The fact that we have varied opinions is great, it's what makes us unique, but when someone can't provide a substantial reason as to WHY they believe what they do and instead they retreat to their same dogma, that's when it gets irksome.

So how many slap on the wrists does Bimle get before a suspension? I'm not trying to be rude but it was just admitted that he has actually been problematic enough to have topics deleted and posts removed multiple times. This goes beyond "Oh quit whining because he has a different opinion", his posts are always insulting.
If I made a post saying I support guns and there was an actual debate involved, that would be fine. If I made a post saying that I support guns and anyone who doesn't should be aborted for being hippie cucks, that's not an opinion that opens up a discussion. Everyone here sees the difference and in my opinion the only reason that nothing is being done about it is because a few users on the site want to cry out that he's only expressing his opinion, and the mods are afraid of backlash from them on being unfair.

I bet if that were the case and I did that to you, you would certainly claim I was being too strict after one mistake.

Bimle has reached his limit and the next inherently baiting or hate speech filled troll attempt is absolutely getting a suspension from me personally if need be. But to claim mods aren't doing their job or are letting him slide when his most heinous examples are often dealt with swiftly is just out there.

This right here tells you CAV is serious. He's made a point in a number of discussion to show that he is a bit hesitant to bring out the ban-hammah in most cases and as far as I know is the only one who will not do requested suspensions.

Seeing the posts here, I must say I am putting my faith in the mods and do agree with them. I have seen a number of Bimle's topics and while yes, most are controversial and questionable, many of them don't inherently seem to break any rules.
