Greetings, Portal Master! I have made this thread so that the Skylanders fans can discuss their favorite, least favorite, and every other character in Skylanders and give them a rating. I just thought it would be interesting to see the forum's overall statistical ratings of Skylanders by simply viewing this thread. So, below, you may discuss how you feel about characters in Skylanders, and most importantly, give your rating on individual Skylanders characters. You can leave a rating for one Skylanders, or you can leave a rating for 200 Skylanders. This is a free thread, so feel free to leave ratings as you wish. (Please rate characters on a scale of 1 to 100.)

Now, how the ratings work below. I have listed Skylanders from each individual game, and they will be listen in order from first to last, depending on the average forum rating. The number in parenthesis lists how many people have rated that Skylander. These statistics can always change as forumers rate Skylanders. You may change your rating for a Skylander at any time. Pretty simple!

Future Skylanders Games (TBA)

I'd really like to contribute to this but I'm really confused! Do I just choose a Skylander and give them a score out of 100? Are there any particular things you have to mark them on?

This is just a draft. I'm going to update this with a better explanation soon. You choose whatever characters you want and rate them on a scale of 1 to 100 (for example: Kaboom - 89). Then, I will update the thread by averaging your rating for the character in with previous ratings. You can rate as many characters as you want. This thread is also for discussing how you feel about characters, so feel free to do that also.

Writing this, I can see I have an obvious bias towards quadruped characters, especially Spyro and Cynder. It's pretty clear that there are my favourites, the 'meh' characters lying around the 50 mark, and the ones-I-dislike-for-no-reason.

i'll add more later but i give thrillipede a 96/100

Miiight as well just do an overall list of 5 best and 5 worst.

1. Hex - Tennouttaten. 99/100. Her design is simple but clicks all the eye-catching spots, her gameplay is great and I'll never be tired of doing kanchos with Compound Fracture, her personality is quite a break from "heroic and eager to fight" that most of the cast has,and just the overall idea of a smol elf being given abilities mortals were not meant to know in the good side is awesome. Only issue is that she's definately no fun with Shade Master.
2. Spyro - 85/100. He HAS the major flaw of his head design and his gameplay gets severe issues from having two movement-based abilities, but he still gud. Also a great fix to his LOS personality with shades of Classic, not naive but still the first to give a rousing speech.
3. Tree Rex - 92/100. I've seen a lot of ents in my time loving fantasy character design, but he easily shows simple is by no means bad. Could use a less awkward (fungi?) chestplate, but other than that, all of his abilities are versatile and allow for tons of fun. Elbow drop all the way.
4. Nightfall - 95/100. VV definately got to this character with the wrong intentions in mind(almost ended up as another Dreamworks generic type), but she ended up amazing. Maybe not as first-sight enticing like her old coloring, but I never get tired of looking at her figure or her ingame model; from her short size, to her poses, to her attacks, it's all interesting even if pretty slow because of the programmer that went hitstun-happy. If only her figure or artwork actually accurate to ingame with colors, god someone dropped the ball.
5. Bat Spin - 90/100. Told myself I was being a fool by buying the worst figure in the series. BOY I WAS WRONG. Screw the badly painted figure, she's a bundle of fun with a ugly-cute design to boot. I actually have to stop myself from relying on her so much for boss battles because on either path she's way capable of compensating for her health.

5. Grim Creeper - 23/100. Used to be way lower but his gameplay is actually pretty cool looking. However, that ghost form is a face only a mother could love. Or a fan of Rayman that doesn't actually know how to draw Rayman.
4. Eruptor - 18/100. The Knuckles treatment in Academy was a salvation in my opinion, but nothing hides the fact he's a walking indigestion joke with nothing interesting on the design to compensate.
3. Rip Tide - 15/100. Dreamworks generic, plus no personality until Battlecast, plus easily the worst Skylander outfit in the series. Fun?
2. Blast Zone - 10/100. Ignitor and Boomer called, they want their uniqueness back. This guy sure has none of that.
1. Scorp - 5/100. You give the guy a nauseous color scheme. You give him lips. You give him a tail that completely breaks his design and looks weird on a muscular bug, DON'T forget to make him use it from behind his back making it look awkward as all hell. You give him a moveset that makes very little sense when looking at his backstory, not to mention being Bash and Crusher combined. Don't forget the Dreamworks grin - - the permanent one.

Probably my least favourite Skylanders lineup. Flashwing and Ninjini are highlights, while Shroomboom and Sprocket remain some of my least favourites overall.

I'll just do SA for now

1. Camo (97/100)- Honestly I love Camo so much. ever since I saw him I fell in love. Love his design, his gameplay, everything but his voice. Oh god his voice.
2. Spyro (92/100)- I only really played the LoS series so I don't really mind his redesign. Honestly I weirdly like it better than his design in The Eternal Night and A New Beginning. Like others have said I don't really like how his attacks are all fire based but I can cope with it.
3. Sunburn (90/100)- I like his design and the teleportation was a cool idea, it just had a horrible execution.

I don't really have a set score or description for the rest of these but they are mostly in order.

And omg I've always hated Eruptor with a burning (sorrynotsorry) passion. I do like Lava Lance Eruptor though, but he doesn't compare.

I'm not sure how we were supposed to rate them, so I done it on how much I like using them. A zero means I really hate the character and they never get to see any action other than to register them into my game. High numbers are ones I use often and are quite fond of. Warning, I favor the female Skylanders, so the males usually rate very poorly unless they are quite OP. And I rated the ones I own, half of Trap Team and most of SC I don't own yet.

Another one - Just to clarify, I've rated characters in multiples of fives, just to make it easier for me. Those scoring above 50 are favoured, while those below 50 I dislike.

Wow, this game really had a lot of hit or miss characters. Probably the Earth element's worst lineup to date. Saying that, Scratch is really one of my favourites and proves that VV can make good designs, too.

Yep, I had to be brutally honest as I wasn't told to be subjective nor objective here. I went with the totally biased and generally useless "subjective" approach as I felt that was more in the spirit of the question.

So, Chop Chop gets a zero because he looks awful even though I cannot remember how he plays at all. Eye-Brawl I remember playing with quite a bit because I loved his floating eyeball and that was the coolest thing ever in Giants. He got a 60 based mostly on his coolness although he wasn't a very good in game character to use. Most females score high simply because they are waifu even if they do suck (Torch). Sprocket gets a zero because she's quite literally the ugliest female Skylander and one of the most annoying characters to try to use regardless of sex. Jet-vac I want to give a minus 100 because I detest bird characters and he's an arrogant jerk on top of it, which I despise in male characters. And so on.

But, if I was told to just rate on their battle ability, DPS etc, and not their looks, then my ratings would be much different. Just a general "a feeling about something" rating is often a very poor one as you will get such horrible ratings given out just like what you saw in mine.

Sadly I wouldn't be able to rate 70% of my collection fairly as I've never had the time to play with most of them long enough to judge them in that way. I don't think many people could with some 300 Skylanders out there. I'm purely judging books by their cover which is totally wrong to do, but I suppose it's fine in a fun bit of fluff survey such as this one.

That's fair enough - I only have around 40 figures so most of my ratings come from appearances and/or small amounts of gameplay I've seen. I can agree with you on Sprocket, probably the worst purchase I've ever made.

I watch a gross amount of gameplay(if I'm going to spend +80 reais on plastic I have to quadruple-check my decisions) so I do have a clear on opinion on all the characters, but the issue is I'm definately not going to remember them two or three years after deciding against buying them. There's a lot of characters I'm just too neutral on, as well.

I'll do this by Elements and add more over time. I won't write anything because I will get sick of it after only 10 of them.
