so ever since december there's one of those puppy stores at my local mall. they treat the dogs very badly..

they live in showboxes, come to the store from virginia (via semitruck) and only get to run around in a small area when somebody wants to buy them (for an outrageous price anywhere from $1500-4000)

people have been trying to get rid of this store since then and nothing has been done. 6 months later- it's still here.

there are protesters at the mall, and they are going to get in contact with me so i can help protest.

Oh boy there's a store in the mall that does that,but with the even shorter space of the windows. It's constantly covered in poop since they only clean it every now and then, you can even feel the smell. There's also an actual adoption event hosted the right way(cleaned all the time, really big enclosures for a few dogs) the other side of the mall, no idea how nothing has been done about it there. No word of protest from the animal protection groups in my city that I know of.

Probably some bribery or just plain incompetence involved in keeping that open for both cases. Some people DO think you can treat dogs like hamsters and stick them in tiny spaces for 6-8 hours with small breaks for cleaning.

This is insane. Go tell em this is utter bull.

I know a mall I went to once they took perfect care of the dogs by letting them out and feeding them every day, the only problem was that the boxes they were in were a little small

probably so- the owner of that hellhole is driving a Mercedes off the money he makes. they charge upwards of $1500 for dogs. EX- reputable breeders sell pugsw for about $500. this store sells them for 2 grand. wtf. he probably has money left over to bribe

I've never heard of things like these happening in malls. (Maybe it's an American thing?)
