It was the first time I made my outfit from scratch, and it was awesome. That's the main reason I haven't been here for a while. If I'm feeling up to it I may post a picture later. I went as The Vault Dweller from Fallout 1 and I was awesome to hear people shouting at me "You're a hero, and you have to leave." smilie

Has anyone else here cosplayed before? And if so, who or what did you go as and what did others think of your outfit?

The con is for two days and I'll be going tomorrow too.

I always cosplay as something obscure or not too big in my country yet :C went as N from Pokémon before BW was popular, Professor Juniper, Squigly from Skullgirls(literally only time someone came up to me to talk about the game) and Hex from Skylanders. Would've improved that last one this year but no money for cons this time.

Just came back from the after-party. Probably the only place in the city where the pokemon theme song is played and the crowd goes nuts.

Yup, though it's closer to poor cosplays more than anything. I try to make characters with clothes I see in stores or that need only minimal alterations, though I've done props before since it's not like it has to last more than a week. Would love to practice sewing and do full costumes but I don't have the time with uni ending right before the best cons in here start. Hex was by far the hardest and the one I dropped the ball at, which is why I want to do it again, because I just did all the dress extras out of thin cardboard. Yes, I did have bruises by the end because it wouldn't stop scraping against my arms or hips, not to mention sore back because I insisted on not bringing a backpack and had to carry around a resin skull.

cosplayed as north italy from hetalia a year back when i was a weeb child, my little sister went as zelda so i didn't get much attention, the one guy who did was probably a pedophile in hindsight, long story short, i didn't go to my city's comic con this year (although i wish i did, stan lee was gonna be there)

I'm in the process of making a cat head (the cat in my avatar actually) ... but I think I'd be too nervous to actually go to a convention .. >.<

But I'd love to see a picture actually, if you don't mind! Especially as you made it from scratch! ;p

I cosplayed as a sinner from the game Freedom Wars. Being my first cosplay, I went with a sinner because it's the whole make your own character stuff so I made the outfit. It isn't the best ever but I was proud of it. Only one person knew what I was form but that still made me happy. I think they liked it, idk.

Next I'm gonna cosplay as a human Kurokuma from Danganronpa: Another Episode.

Creature/animalistic costumes look so complicated. I hope it turns out well.

I had over 20 different people taking photos of me. I suppose someone will upload a picture of me before I do. smilie

I bought everything separate, it's so hard to pick a character that I can both pull off and afford. There's so many I'd do but then they have really crazy hair or something that I won't even bother to attempt.

Every year I tell myself I'll go to NYCC and then I don't get tickets.

Never cosplayed. Vaguely interested in trying.

I'm going to Summer of Sonic in a month and I kinda wanna cosplay as Professor Pickle, but on the other hand, I think I'd rather save money for whatever merchandise might be at the con (and for stuff to buy in London in general).

I understand wanting to save money but please consider going through with cosplaying the Pickle. He is a beautiful man.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal.
Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.
