With the vote steadily approaching, I'd like to know what some of our users think about this monumental decision and if it's worth supporting or not.

I would like for us to remain in the EU personally. Sure there are benefits to both sides but I think ultimately there are significantly more to us staying in the EU. I just hope that the right decision is made come Thursday. It's times like these when I wish I could vote, being only 17 I can't but if I could, I would vote to remain.

I'm going to have to agree with you, I believe that it'd be beneficial not only for the British economy but over here in the States as well.

Seriously though, both sides have just shoved out so much crap to attempt to see who can fling the biggest pile of **** at each other and they have not given enough facts for me to actually decide what side I would support. If I'm being honest, if I could vote I wouldn't vote as it is right now.

YES!!!. Save us all and control your own country is my motto!. EU is basically like a USSR of Europe or EUSSR. It regulates and controls like a cashcow. Economically its much better to be independent and make your own choices and get full democratic power without being overruled by EU. So absolutely, vote Leave is my suggestion. I am not from United Kingdom, from Norway but i do hope they vote out. I just fear they wont due to controversy of Jo Cox "Its almost too perfect timing to be honest? since most scored on leave before that happened." Either way i will assume brits likely will not leave, which i hope not i just assume it will happen that they stay. But i really hope they leave. Its still slight tie with like 1 percent over for staying over leaving. So its not hopeless yet. But i'll see in a couple of days.
So its gonna be interesting! |

This is indicative of the shift in modern politics: nationalism versus globalism.
I've read a bit about it and I think Britain should stay in the EU. If I lived there, that's how I would vote. |

Remain.
However I don't think Turkey should be allowed into the EU, because 90% of the country is in Asia... and several other reasons which is the biggest remain negative. |

If we declare that we want to leave the EU, it'll take a couple of years to actually solidify it, so they have plenty of time to become citizens.

SWEET TASTE OF VICTORY!.
EU Dictatorship who wants to regulate what countries should do have nobody but themself to blame. Now likely more countries will follow this trend and bankrupt EU, and then free markets and democracy can truly shine! This is a victory for democracy! Proud of brits now to say the least! I never thought they'd go out, Brits are the best for this! Hopefully we can also go out of EEC in Norway and get a truly democracy without some dictatorship regulating us! Just amazing! They will likely not do the mistake of Norway which was letting the government sign them into EEC, since our government did that mistake when we voted no for EU. Heard they will likely go with a pure Brexit system! |

Do you want to be ruled by a dictatorship economic political tool?. Trust me UK is very influential, more countries will likely leave EU that way, i even heard Rome may plan on elections for in and out so hang in there, EU is pure evil!. Brexit will find a way, it will do great!. Besides the massive cash pumped into EU could be used for other things, i think UK is gonna be much richer without EU more or less. Just gonna say proud of Britain for this! Quote:
Because frankly this was the greatest thing to ever happen on earth!. Now true democracy and free market can shine without some economic political dictatorship regulating what one should do or not. Its fantastic! |

Atleast Cameron is not going to lead the negotiation with EU, since he's pro then i can understand that if he plans to slide in some EU rules etc and want more a politician suited for the negotiation who takes over after him, so i am glad for that, which may be a reason why he steps down. Say what you want about Cameron but atleast its proof of the strength of a democracy with those types of statements. |

I don't know too much about this particular issue but the EU seems like a decent idea on paper that helps each other out, that unfortunately gets dragged through the mud through economic troubles and certain members getting themselves into deep holes.

So, I'm going to apply one of the most frequent arguments gun proponents use to you Brexit fans. You say closing your borders by leaving the EU will "save you from an influx of immigrants?"
Okay. But, much like the old "People will find ways to illegally acquire guns" argument, I'm sure that refugees, criminals, and other desperate types will find ways to get into the UK regardless of how much you guys try to isolate yourselves. Most of the Brexit voters were in the baby boomer generation and the more rural areas of the UK. The under 30 crowd was staunchly pro-Remain and they're visibly furious at this result. >.>

If the voters can feel even slightly bit better about themselves about this result then yeah. But it still does not change the fact that in macrocosmic long-term delevopment of European human being this result is just a sign of cowardice and degeneration. But hey as long as the generation now and the generation after can feel manufactured and false sense of pride about the outcome, then the media is happy. Just throw away the unified Europe, you know the continet that has been ravaged most by the two of the world wars and etc. When there is a huge problem, you fix it and do not escape from it.
But who cares eventually. I am in a side of EU and if this sort of referendum is organized here in my country, I'd be terrified since usually first emotional scared irrational opinions win these kind of argument wars. But EU will be just fine as long as Germany and France are in good terms with each other so good riddance, U.K. I still love your culture and humour, though. And I wish you can organize your society as efficiently as possible!

I'm grossly under informed about this whole situation. I don't really keep up with the EU so what have they done that would want to make Britain (is that who it is? Like all of Great Britain or only England or?)? What effects would this have both positive and negative on not just the EU and the involved country, but for other nations?

Well this is turning out the way i saw it turning out :/
Why not make life easy and scrap the individual parliaments and just have 1 that has representatives for each part of the UK? That would make things so much easier. Then Scotland wouldn't have to deal with the fish woman trying to drive the place into the ground.
