Hey is there anything you want me to bring for the rest of the week and if so it’s so cool that you can do something and just do it like that

This could either be really good. Or really, really bad.

I'm hoping they handle this like Blue Sky handled the Peanuts movie.

You know, from this poster alone, it looks like something Blue Sky did. But nonetheless, I hope Dreamworks does a good job.

This could either be really bad or kinda good. I liked the books when I was younger, but I'm sure they will not hold up at all. Who knows! I could be eating my words. Need a trailer to make any final judgements

Remembered me of the Peanuts Movie. But I trust in Dreamworks. It's a good producer.

I just don't trust on how NBC-Universal will treat the company. That news of 4 movies per year is genuinely scary.

But I hope that everything turns well.

For the short while I was working at a primary-school library, I could tell what the kids were reading based on which books kept getting miss-placed.

Licensed titles (i.e. stuff based on games and cartoons), and anything by C. S. Lewis & Roald Dahl, were things I had to re-order on a daily basis. As for Captain Underpants... Either CU fans at this school were pedantic enough to actually put the books where they actually belonged, or this movie has nothing going for it.

There is Nostalgia Factor and I admit I did like Captain Underpants... When I was seven...

Sorry for being a downer, but I think this movie is going to flop.

I read one of the other books by the author.. the one where these two dudes go back to caveman times to learn how to fight or something?

I think the Captian Underpants is a good way to trick little boys who like potty humor into reading. (ofc, not all boys are like this.)

looks like ive got some things to do...

I don't either, but I too have trust in DreamWorks, and I also hope everything turns out well. Captain Underpants was a big part of my childhood! I absolutely loved and enjoyed his novels whenever I had free time. I still do, even now. I still have the first five plus the Extra-Crunchy Book O' Fun and The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby. I even sort of cosplayed as him in middle school! (I had a T-shirt with him on it) smilie

It also predicted the rise of Bronydom a decade before (See the Epilogue of the first book)
