Once upon a time, on planet earth, there was a bad disease. It was worse that the black plague. So officials took a desperate measure. They put a nuclear radiator in the center of the earth, to remove the disease. It worked, but it had created mutants- races of anthropomorphic animals, revived skeletons, mythic creatures, and more.
In this time frame, there was a man. He had met a girl, who he loved very much. They soon became wed. But three years later, a war between human and mutant broke out. The man’s wife, knowing her husband’s assets in the human war must be protected, went to fight.
He waited 3 years. But one day, instead of his wife knocking at the door, it was three men with bad news. This man, James P. Arakore, sold his assets, and bought a shovel. He went to the deserts of arizona.
He dug for a long time. But he had found a large stone wheel, and five small runes. He had soon learned that the runes had great power. He knew what he needed to do. He loaded the five stones into the wheel, and slowly drained the radiation from the nearby mutant population.
He had gathered enough to try and revive his wife- but he was missing one stone. Arakore’s wife was alive for one last hour, before she passed again. Arakore, during this process, had killed hundreds of thousands of mutants, by draining some of the radiation that kept them alive.
He had a new goal, to find the sixth rune, and revive his wife- and all other humans lost in the war of 2034. But little did he know that by killing innocents.. He was no better than the opposing mutant army, who killed his wife.
10 years later.
Arakore has built a fortress of stone. He used the other 5 stones to give power to 5 new friends- who would help him. His goal was now close to completion.. But one thing would stop him.
In a small town, there lived a girl- Bailey Herdsberg. She was a young mutant, of age 16. She was a sheep, now in anthro form. She lived with her father, and her older brother Chad. Her mother had died years ago when arakore drained radiation. She had one goal- to create peace between humans and mutants.
One day, a human boy- Pyren Spitzer, had found his way into town. He was minorly hit by the car of Moe Gibson- Bailey’s mutant wolf friend since birth. The two run to go get bailey, and begin a journey to find out what caused all the deaths 10 years ago- and to make amends. Along the way, they meet arakore’s friends (Manglerfish, Sausagar, Azurr, Iron Maiden, and Broadway), and make friends of their own- Tiffany Boanna, a snake who interns at the police station- and Ardenne Foxtrotte, a fox mutant and old childhood rival of Pyren.
