Josie frowned.
"You can look at me, you know. I know you're mad at me, but the least you could do is glare at me." He said.

Viper looked down at the scene below.
"Hopefully not much longer." She says.

"I'm not mad at you" Iive said with a huff of impatience

"Then what's the matter? You can talk to me, Iive. I'm here for you." Josie said. "Trust me."

OOC: So. Freaking. Oblivious

"Nope. Nope, I really can't" Iive said. With each passing moment, her annoyance with Josie kept on growing.

Josie frowned, slightly hurt.
"Okay. I won't pressure you into talking or anything then." He said. "I'll give you some space."

Josie crawls over to sit by Viper, who messes up his blonde hair with a smile.
"You tick off another girl? Amazing." She says, and leans gently against Josie.

"Haha real funny." Josie replies, but his voice still sounded hurt.

"Didn't tick me off" Iive grumbles "He's just an idiot"

OOC: I think Iive needs a girl to girl talk

Viper looks at Iive and slowly moves towards the other girl, since her wounds were slightly hindering. When she reaches Iive, she gestures for Iive to come sit by her, her violet eyes gentle. She had moved a little further from where Iive was, trying to wordlessly tell Iive that Josie wasn't a part of this.

Iive scoots closer to Viper and sighs "What?"

"He's not an idiot. He just...a bit oblivious." Viper smiles. "Girl to girl talk. I think you need it more than hanging around him." She says kindly. "And I know that you know that you can confide in me. We all stick together."

"A bit? Understatement of the year" Iive groaned. "Thanks, though"

Viper laughed.
"Yeah, maybe a bit of an understatement. But I promise, you can talk to me. So what's up that's getting you so down?" She asks gently.

"Josie couldn't be more oblivious. For some reason he can't tell that I like him" Iive grumbles, obviously quite annoyed with the entirety of this situation

"So that's it. I thought so. You see, Josie has never had a girl like him, so he's pretty oblivious to crushes and things of that nature. I'm pretty sure he likes you. Why do you think he rested his head on your shoulder? He usually only does that with me. And that's only because we've been childhood best friends." Viper says, smiling sympathetically at Iive. "Don't let that knucklehead annoy you. He's a real sweetheart, and he's trying to spend time with you. With him, you might have to flat out tell him you like him. But don't feel pressured to tell him until you feel it's the right time. I mean hey, maybe he will drive you mad and you end up not liking him. Who knows?" Viper laughs, glancing over to where Josie sat.

"I might try to tell him after we save Storm... But he's never had a girl like him? Odd.." Iive chuckles "He's quite a catch when he's not being annoyingly oblivious"

"He's only been around three other girls, remember? Me, you, and Akali. Our roommate, Clarissa, is usually out all the time, so we never really see her. There aren't a lot of girls who have crushes on him." Viper laughs. "I didn't know he's quite the catch though." She smiles. "I mean, he is a drinker. Not much of a catch. He does have good looks at least though." She jokes.

"Oh.. right. Well, if you look past the drinking and the gambling, he's quite alright" Iive chuckles.

"Is that so? Well I think Josie's found the girl for him then. If anyone can look past that, then they're a keeper. Not many can look past all that like you can." Viper smiles.

Iive laughs "I didn't know it was such an arduous task to overlook drinking and gambling"

OOC: Sorry SC. You don't have to worry about any of those posts. They were all between Iive and Josie while we waited for Storm's response.

Viper's eyes widen as she sees the needle.
"Joscelyn we go now!" She yelled, kicking out the vent cover and dropping down onto the man pinning Storm down. She drew her bowstaff and pressed the button on it to unveil the hidden spears in the staff's ends. "Let her go." She hisses to the man.

Josie drops down and unsheaths his two twin blades, hand forged with hilts that had carved dragons on them. He eyes the guards warily.

"Finally" Iive says, hoping down after Viper and Josie. Once she has landed, she unsheathes her sword and gets into a ready stance. "I am ready to stab something, geez" Iive groans, looking at the guards around Storm.

OOC: Maybe you have her hear a sound in a nearby building and have her investigate? Just something to get her with everyone else.

OOC: You could do that, S-G. Otherwise, I can definitely find a way to get one of my characters (or both) to walk under the tree.

Viper cursed under her breath and knocked the man with her bowstaff.

Joscelyn had backed up as a few of the guards edged close to him.

"I told you we shouldn't have waited so long" Iive groaned as she hit one guard that was closing in on Josie with the hilt of her sword.

Viper ran to Storm and picked the girl up.
"Let's get out of here. Joscelyn and Iive, cover me please." She says.

Joscelyn kept his blades close to his chest as he ran behind Viper. His eyes were focused on the guards as he kept Viper safe.
"Let's get out quick please Viper. I don't really want a fight right now." He says.

Iive ran to the left of Viper, sheathing her sword in favor of a small dagger. "I'll still stab anyone who tries anything funny" Iive mutters

"We're going Storm. We'll get you out of here." Viper says.

Josie yelps in surprise as one the guards grabs him.

"Joscelyn!" Viper yells, turning quickly, fear in her eyes.

"Damnit.. Knew I should've went behind him.." Iive sighs, attempting to throw her dagger at the guard. However, Iive's aim was a bit off and she only managed to clip his ear.

The guard feels the dagger clip his ear and he glares at Iive. Seeing that she's a distance from him though, and that her aim was pretty bad the first go around, he's not worried. Instead, he decides to threaten the two. Pulling Josie close, he raises his sword and rests it against Josie's throat.
"The girl." He growls. "Or else I can end him really quickly here."

Viper was frozen with fear. She had grown up knowing to never leave a man behind. No matter what. But here she was in the worst possible situation, trying to decide who to give up. She had never seen Joscelyn so scared, his sea green-blue eyes holding pure terror as he hyperventilated.

"Viper take Storm and get out of here." Joscelyn says, his voice choking.

Iive whispered some hushed cusses under her breath, viewing her situation. No matter what she did, there would be no good end to this. Iive thought about the devastation Viper would have to deal with if Josie died. Iive knew what she had to do. She had caused this mess, she needed to fix it. She looked back at Viper and mouthed an I'm sorry to her. Iive sprinted forward, unsheathing her sword, and attempted to stab the guard, leaving herself completely open to attack.

The guard's eyes widen in surprise as Iive runs at him. He didn't actually expect them to move, especially with how terrified the one Viper girl had looked. In his surprise, he acted quick. He knew he wouldn't have time to finish the boy. At least, not before the girl reached him. In his flighty movement, he lashed with his sword, slicing violently across Joscelyn's right shoulder to just midway down his chest, the deep gash running just under Josie's collarbones. Dropping Josie, the guard avoided Iive's attack in the nick of time and made of a breakaway out of fear.

Josie collapsed hard to the floor, the gash deep, blood pooling from the wound.

Iive bent down quickly, wasting no time. She took a very small medkit out of her pocket, containing only a small roll of bandage, tape, and a small packet of antibacterial ointment. "This won't do much, but it'll help until I can get a better medpack, at least..." Iive said. She took off her long sleeve shirt and sliced it up with her dagger, dousing it lightly with antibacterial ointment. She placed the torn shirt along the gushing gash, and tightly wrapped Josie with the bandages. The bleeding slowed, but it was obvious the bandages wouldn't last very long.

"We're gonna need to hurry to the orphanage if we have any chance of saving his life" Iive spoke sternly.

OOC: I have a feeling this little route I have is going to eventually get cut off at ten as well pretty soon here

Josie moaned softly in pain, his eyes squeezed shut. He didn't appear to quite be fully conscious.

"Can you carry Joscelyn, Iive?" Viper asks, her eyes wide in concern. It was obvious that she was holding back tears.

OOC: I don't understand what you just said

Iive nodded, gently picking up Joscelyn, careful to not move his temporary bandaging. "Let's just hurry." Iive spoke shakily.

OOC: My little iPod doesn't lose its wifi at ten. I'm pretty sure it's going to be discovered pretty soon though

Joscelyn whimpered as Iive picked him up.

Viper ran quickly out of the armory, hurrying until she could see the Chaveroux Orphanage looming ahead of them. As soon as she got inside, she set Storm down on a couch.
"Let's lay Joscelyn down over here." She said, pointing to another couch.

OOC: Oh XD Hope for the best


"Thank God." Iive said as she set Joscelyn down carefully "Now someone get me an actual medpack now! Running out of time"

A small boy with shockingly bright ginger red hair had been looking around the corner at the gang. As he hears Iive, and sees Joscelyn's condition, he dashes off. In seconds, he's returned, carrying with him a kit about as big as him.
"It's really heavy. So it's bound to have something to help in it." He says, struggling to get the words out from not being able to breathe. It was a heavy kit for a small kid like him.

"Desian, thank you so much. This will really help." Viper says, trying to offer a smile. She takes the kit from him and hands it to Iive. "I'll try to get in contact with a hospital." She says to Iive.

"Alright. I'll do as much as I can." Iive nods, setting down the medkit. She removes Joscelyn's bloodied bandages and shirt, and immediately wipes the wound down with an antibacterial wipe. She digs around in the pack for some suture and a needle. "There it is" She mumbles, threading the needle. She knots the suture and gently stitches the wound together. She rewraps Joscelyn in bandages and stands up. "That should keep things together, but a hospital would still be smart. After being so exposed I'm sure it's gotten infected" Iive says.

Viper nods and runs to the orphanage phone in the kitchen. Her voice was surprisingly calm for the situation.

Joscelyn came to slightly, his sea green-blue eyes trying to focus.
"W-where am I at? My chest hurts." He whimpers. He raises his hand to gently touch the wound with his fingers and he gasped in pain. "Ouch!" He hissed.

Iive whipped around and saw Joscelyn "It is greatly recommended that you don't touch your wound. I did as much as I could but it will still hurt quite a lot. Anyway, you're back at the Chaveroux Orphanage, Josie. A lot has happened, but the main point is that you are alive" Iive said, looking over Josie,

Everything came back to Josie from the armory at once.
"You saved me Iive." He said, smiling at her, lowering his hand from the wound.

A wave of hurt passed over Iive's face "Y-yeah.. Saved you.." Iive said with a small forced smile.
