1st of all Gimli is a badass master Dwarf! 2nd it was reasonable before to have a beard because you didnt have electrical shaving equipment, so trimming it was more likely than having tons of cuts or pubic hair look on your face. Legolas likely didnt have beard because Elves are quite dashing. Some races dont have beards in the human race so its not impossible for them to not grow it either : )

What i mean is people do it just because it makes them look cool but in generality it doesnt. in the 50s they saw beard as unhygenic, i dont know when electrical shaving was introduced but it was muuuuch more convenient and easier to shave since the neck is so thick and can handle it, perfect invention more or less!

What i mean is most people who have beard reminds me or look like this herod guy from that clip... It just seems lazy thats all! And is unhygenic in general if you want food in your beard. And some are beards worshippers so this is my take on it. I mean sure beards can be cool... if you lived in medieval times but not now : /

I will assume the romans are beardless because they were quite daring brutes so they face death and cuts without hessitating with their knives

Its more hygenic and real modern times, but hipsters dont want that. I say shaving your balls is more baby like because of massive wounds it opens and the girly approach to it which to me is purely body abuse, if you like climbing mountaints and move alot. However shaving your neck to be normal is totally normal.

I would never shave the genitals, that's like asking for cactus in your pants!
Neck hair needs to go though. It's just uncomfortable and nearly unmanageable.

I am pretty easy going, depending on the person but usually i am not that hard to convince

Although Skyrim isnt real though, and marvel has sorta made norse mythology nerdy, used to imagine people being impaled with spears on the battlefield and bloody fights with shields, spears and axes. And the valhalla stuff was also there, i like Valkyries mostly though. Not that i am anti comedy eeemmm it just became nerdy more or less. Since i imagine just tough thriving men more or less like a man with a cigar with a gun looks like, not doopid super powers (Sorry my language). Although they did trade and stuff so in sense some form of civilized attitude among the fighting and hoarding for booties!

But yeah then it is a part of some nerdy comic strip now : I. Age of Mythology did it more justice, just saying!
