backer codes are mostly for the wrong systems or not working.
the game itself bricks wii u consoles.
the ps4 version's dlc has issues.
the pc version is recognized as a virus on most computers.
inafune says it's "better than nothing".

Maybe this game should've not been delayed and it could've been better. Ride To Hell: Retribution could've been better without delay as well.

Transformations and other stuff cancelled because of "tight budget"(because that lifeless VA sure cost a lot), game's gameplay actually goes backwards from recent Megaman polished mechanics.

Comcept should've just delivered the core game on PC first, then work on ports, THEN add the stretch goals.

Yahct Club Games ran out of money when making Shovel Knight but still delivered a great game, made it more widely available over time and then added additional content for free.

I'm not too surprised.

For a while now I've said that the game would be decent at best, which after all the drama and delays would not be nearly enough for fans and would've been torn to shreds. The technical problems and the creator saying that a mixed reception is 'better than nothing' is just icing on the cake.

It's probably not terrible. Just not nearly good enough to make up for all the **** it's been a part of, or to justify the fairly large costs to get it made.

Hopefully Indivisible and/or Yooka-Laylee restore general faith in larger crowdfunded games.
