Is Mathew Patrick's Game Theory and Film Theory still about legit theories or is it all just cynical tabloid headlines?

Over-dissecting the brief Five Nights At Freddy's series, attacking The Martian for its science, undoing the goodwill of heroes in fiction like the Fullmetal Alchemist when motivations and actions were clearly defined, saying mobile gaming is the ONLY future as oppose to being PART of the future.

So much this. It's just him rambling for awhile in some cases disregarding facts that could disprove him. Then all of his followers act like he's great and everything he suggests is an absolute truth and actually plausible.

I like MatPat, but his audience is horrible. They treat him like he's a God and that everything he says is fact.

I think the reason why his videos have become more clickbait-ish is because there's not much material for him to do. So he has to take something not as interesting and make it...look...interesting? Because let's be real: he knows the bulk of his audience is children. And children like to see scandals

It's also why so many youtubers destroy our ears but kids eat it all up. Soft spoken, well explained and researched is boring, they want screaming, loud noises and FUN FACTS!

To be fair, most of his videos are well-researched. Off the top of my head the Sonic one immediately comes to mind, where he found out how fast Sonic was actually running

I'm subbed to a large variety of Youtubers, and the Game Theorist ain't one of them.
