(Day 4: Totems of Truth)

*arrives in front of cabins at 2:00 P.M.* *scrapes two Traptanium crystals together making a loud screech* Wake up, contestants! Geez, you people can really slumber! How did none of you wake up early to ask why I am waking you up six-and-a-half hours late?! Ugh, I guess I will just tell you now, you party poopers.*waits for all contestants to leave their cabins* Where is Wrecking Ball?... Ah, why does it matter. Today will mark as day four, a.k.a. challenge three of Total Drama Skyland!. Today, I have a challenge prepared for you unlike your revious challenges. *devious laugh* It will be a long challenge, so go start your day by eating breakfast, lunch, lupper, dinner, thingy.

~45 Minutes Later~

I hope you had a nice... meal, because your challenge will take place here today! *turns towards the forest and opens arms* I hope you are some tree huggers, because you will spend the rest of the day here, searching for the three totems that Shadester and I hid in the woods last night... Mostly Shadester, because *shivers thinking about stomach* ugh. Anyways, there are three totems or each team, three resembling a chompy, and three resembling a greeble. They are made of wood, so they may be camoflauge with the forest. Be observant, for they will be hard to spot and scattered all across this forest. There will be none outside of the forest, I can promise you that. Here are two maps. *hands one to Grim Creeper and one to Sonic Boom* You will be the team leaders today. Work with your teammates to decipher these maps, and they may help you with your search. Whichever team brings the most totems back by sundown will receive immunity, and of course, the deluxe pillows, freshly washed and puffed. The sun will set at 8:35 PM, so you now five hours and 41 minutes. You may start... NOW! *yells at contestants as they sprint into the forest* Remember, decipher! Decoopher... Delcoofer... Lucifer. *evil laugh* *chokes on the leftovers of the goat meat I ate earlier*

OOC: You are now on the search for the three totems your team has to find in the forest. I will PM you your questions momentarily.

Sonic Boom seemed weirded out by such unusual challenge, and cautiously looked at the map.
"Well, it looks like our little date will have to wait." the griffin said as she studied the map. She was quite glad to have been chosen leader, since she believed she could help the team avoid another loss.

Sunburn was relieved the challenge wasn't another boring cooking competition, since he couldn't find a cookbook abyway, yet he was still very disappointed.
"Hugging trees!? Is he serious!? What kind of competition is this!? Only the first challenge was decent!" the hybrid said, evidently not afraid to voice his disappointment. He was determined towin however, no matter how lame the challenges were.

Sonic Boom then went to gather her team, and she had completely forgotten that both Spyro and Dark were on the opposite team, so she would have to go against them.

Anyway, sorry for voting Camo out, Grim. I didn't mean anything personal, it's just that his friendship was getting in the way of his teamwork. It wasn't because I wanted to make you miserable. *Gets off bed and heads to the challenge* Please don't be angry.

Me and Sonic Boom are doing okay right now.

Sonic Boom tried to ignore his comment, as she continued to study the map and ignoring Dark, who was on the opposite team. She truly believed she could win this with the right strategy and motivation, but she was worried about Blades's endless proneness to conversation and Sunburn's mischievousness.

Team, let's split up into 3 groups and we'll find it.

Sonic Boom gathered the team, and placed them in two.
"Alright, let's get this started! Blades, you go with Legendary Chop Chop. Sunburn, you go with Echo. And you Flashwing, you go with Zoo Lou. I'll go alone with my children." Sonic Boom ordered, trying to create balanced pairs. They lost two times already, they couldn't afford losing more team members. Sonic Boom's advantage was that she had her kids to help, and once they hatched, she would explain the rules to them so that they could begin helping their team to win.

I nodded "agreed. Grim, you're in charge this round, you decide who will go with who."

I got an idea. Why don't we leave markers where we've been to make it easier to find our way back. We'll have to use different markers every time though. In addition, each team should likely use different tools to make markers. Like one team uses sticks and leaves, one uses rocks, one draws big emblems in the mud, and the last one uses... uhhh, what else can we use in a forest?

Echo nods."As team work together"she said.

"Well Echo lass, I suppose we are stuck to each other." Sunburn said, a bit disappointed since he would have rather go alone.

Sonic Boom listened to Zoo Lou's suggestion, and while it was a good idea, it had flaws.
"I like the idea of markers. However, if we use things like rocks and sticks, these items can be easily misplaced by events like the wind. I suggest we use our powers to create trails." she said, as she proceeded to use her screech along the soil to move the dirt and make a rather muddy path to demonstrate what she meant.

Powers allowed this round, cause i may or may not have a plan

*nods*

*casts dark magic spell* "As the path for ours may not be clear make the other teams dissapear

But isn't isn't it against the rules to use our powers? Won't that get us disqualified?

Sonic Boom realized the point, but now there was something that must be cleared out.
"I see your point. Those rules were set in the first competition, but nothing was said about this one. I'll ask as a precaution." she said, as she headed to the administrator...

"Well, while our dear leader searches for our particular host, I suggest we start this competition without her. Of course, I suggest we make paths without using our powers just in case." Sunburn suggested, saying that to the rest of the members as well. Like Sonic Boom, he was tired of losing.

Sonic Boom cautiously headed to Luminous's headquarters and called.
"Mister Luminous sir, can you come out? We have a few questions about the rules of this new challenge." Sonic Boom called in a meek voice, being aware of him and his companion's reputation throughout Skylands.

Hex, I have one suggestion for you—don't do that. We'll get disqualified.

*Starts down his path with Flashwing* Say... I don't think we really got the chance to talk. What do you do as a Skylander. Is there anything we should know about each other?

Let's be strategic but without cheating.

Since Luminous didn't answer, Sonic Boom headed to the forest after her children hatched and explained to them the rules. She then reunited with the group.
"Well guys, I couldn't contact our... host. So come on, it's time to start. Let's not risk anything, so let's use other methods to create a path." the griffin said, unaware that Sunburn already suggested not using their powers just in case. So leaving the pairs all by themselves, she headed into the forest alone with her kids, creating a muddy track with her tail similar to the one she had originally intended, and got immediately to work in looking these totems. It was going to be hard since nobody knew exactly what size the totems were.

"Space?"Echo said.

"Yeah,I see star at night"Echo said."I live in sea,suddenly,I quickly rush to land"

OOC: Wait, isn't Echo supposed to be with Sunburn? Also, the wiki says Zoo Lou is a bear, but I always thought he was a Sloth for some reason.
