Do you prefer having real-life friends or internet friends?

I wish I had real life friends who doubled as internet friends, and vice versa. I want to meet all of my internet friends in person, but I'd like to talk to people I know in person with the people I don't as well.

"Internet" friends because you can share things with them that you would never tell somebody IRL.

I prefer to talk to friends offline tbh, I'm a very expressive person and emoticons just don't cut it (and I just don't like being on webcam either) - I'm not very good at expressing feelings or emotion through text really, or at least I don't feel like I am.
But I have both online and offline friends and I love them all pretty equally and enjoy their company either way!

Both are fine, but I'd prefer Internet friends because of how awkward and uncomfortable I get when talking to people IRL.

Real life friends of course. Obviously I have internet friends but I'd prefer to have them as real life friends instead. Plus I hardly talk to anyone online anymore, if I do then they're really close. I suppose just seeing people makes friendship a whole lot better, interacting and actually seeing eye to eye. Though if I was honest, in past experiences my internet friends were better than real life friends.

All the people I've talked to in 2012 are gone or inactive. Most have moved on and I don't have any interest in talking to them anymore. Probably have only a few close individuals that I'd ever talk to. I have people in real life that mean a lot to me, so if I had to chose it'd be real life.

Something that bugs me (thought I'd be the right time to bring up) when people complain about not having any friends on DarkSpyro then I go to their Guestbook and people are constantly talking to them. I know I shouldn't judge because they probably treat them as acquaintances but to me it just feels different. I'd rather have acquaintances than none at all.

Online I guess. I find more people with similar interests there. All my FRIENDS (and boyfriend for that matter) are online, while all my acquaintances are IRL.

Most definitely IRL preferred but I have some amazing friends from here I favor over many IRL friends.

Well, both of my friends IRL are on the internet, so I would say Internet Friends. (Rin, this includes you.)

Since I only have basically 1 and a half friends I can talk to IRL, I see it as a no brainer. I can't talk IRL to many people, but I can express myself online. So I'd prefer Online over IRL.

(This makes no sense, I am still half asleep after waking up 3 hours and 39 minutes ago. Yup)

Real life friends. I barely have any close Internet friends.

I know that it's not necessarily your fault if you have trouble making friends IRL, but it's socially unhealthy to only have Internet friends. I'm not trying to insult, belittle, or offend anyone, I'm stating a fact.
