Hey guys. Have bought more than a village's share, looking for trading partners. I have tons of extras I would gladly help out other collectors on too.

-To say first off, the card set has 270 physical cards (virtual game has 30 extra for a total of 300).
-There are 2 parallel sets, a silver hologram set and a gold hologram set. All 270 cards are in both parallel sets
-Battle packs are basically 2 booster packs (8 cards each, one epic/ultimate per pack) and also 6 fixed cards depending on which of the two you get. Thus, if you get 4 Spyro Battle Packs, you will get those 6 cards 4 times as doubles but you will still get the boosters so its just extras.

Ultimates are the hardest to get. You get one epic/ultimate a pack. In my experience, you get one ultimate about every 5 to 7 packs. There are 24 ultimates. 8 skylanders and 2 of each element.

That being said. This is what I need:

Ninjini (unscanned is okay)
Krypt King (unscanned is okay)
Splintering Gale
Arkeyan Battle Armor
Show Me The Mummy (epic, Krypt King card) (scanned is okay)

That is it, I technically need a 6th one, but have it coming in the mail.

I probably have a complete 2nd set of epics now, frustrating.

I'm missing several cards but majority of what I need are commons!! I'll need to compile a list.

I pulled a gold foil Flashwing today. I bought just a couple packs!!

A gold foil Flashwing is very cool. I only have like 3 gold foils of actual skylanders, Snap Shot and Spyro are two of them. Have like 3 silver skylanders including a double of Smash Hit. I would trade you a lot for it including a regular flashwing if ever interested.

Am I right in thinking that if Ultimates are the hardest to get and only found in every 5 to 7 of the booster packs. Your better off only buying the Battle Packs where you are always guaranteed one epic and one Ultimate every time? or have i got this wrong?

If we're talking about the physical battlepacks then yes, it's probably more cost efficient that way. The roll on epics/ultimates are completely random, so you could get potentially two ultimates or just two epics depending how lucky you are.

However, if we're talking about the digital battlepacks now costing 1400 coins (previously 1000) you're better off just purchasing digital boosters at any rate.

Yes I was referring to the physical battlepacks. I think I might change my plans since two booster packs cost the same as one battlepack here in the UK.

I might just buy battelpacks going forward and avoid the boosters altogether.

You are not guaranteed an ultimate in a battle pack in either a virtual or physical pack. Can easily get 2 epics in a battle pack either way.

I am just missing Krypt King now if you count the fact my friend got me an arkeyan battle armor and I have a splintering gale coming as well. Would want another one though for my friend.

Got the two battlepack and two booster packs today
First battlepack, first card was Stealth Elf, lol.
Second battlepack has two Snow Blind , is it normal to get duplicates in the same pack? There was also a Stormblade.
Two silver foil in total and no epic.

Is there a way to attach a file of what I still need or do I have to type them all out??

I have an excel spreadsheet, with all the data in there, but hard to email you that.

Roger, it is uncommon to get the same card in a booster pack unless you get both the holo version and a regular version
In a battle pack as its two booster packs combined, its possible but not that likely but it happens

You have to ignore the fact there are the 6 fixed cards. Just because you have a pack guaranteed to have Stormblade does not mean you cant get another Stormblade as the other 16 cards are just two booster pack equivalents and Stormblade is one of the 270 cards to get.

Actually managed to pull Wash Buckler in the storm/snap/spyro battle pack and eruptor in a random booster from gamestop. :3

I do have a few foils. I can only remember that silver version of "Gust" and a gold version of one of flashwing's cards. I do have a few epic/ultimate cards though. I scanned enough of em' to get an ultimate ticket (which i used on krypt king)

I've got an extra spitfire and snap shot and like 2 extra ninja strikes.

just bought another battle pack for the hell of it- no legendaries but 2 epic spells and a gold foil chuggernaut card. seeing as i don't have pop fizz it's meh

Pop Fizz is pretty easy to get and even if you do not have, you can scan it for when the time comes. If you get it as a double in a virtual pack, you would get 60 coins back every time as you would be at level 20 already.

I love the gold hologram physical cards, scanned or not.

Would a public Google Doc be helpful? I've used those for trading in other forums and they tend to be useful. I could try and throw one together tomorrow.

Not sure, there has to be interest in them. We can see what type of interest folks have. Folks can just PM me what ones they need or post which ones they have available.

Some of those cards you mentioned are not in the physical card game. There are 270 cards in the game, 300 in the virtual world. Every one of those non-elemental cards you mentioned is not available as a physical card, like Stomp, Restoring Ray, etc etc.

Chalk Albatross exists, I have like 6 or 7 of those buggers. Portal Rupture does. The Tempest does. Others might, just looking at the top of my head. I will PM you, would be interested in trading.

No. Once you scan a card, that card's info is your forever. That's why people need to use the Trading Shield when they show off the cards. Some jerkoff can easily just take your rare card if you're not careful.

Thanks. I have a Go Fish card for Rip Tide that I'm not able to scan, but I don't need it anyway, so if anyone's interested, I'd change it for Spyro or Snap Shot.

If there was an easy way to send you a scan, I would let you try with another one, I have a ton of Go Fish.

One trick I was taught is if the card is just not highlighting, try changing your light level and then focus on just the picture itself more.

Well, Anvilite is a common card, I only have about 20 of them. I had forgotten to mail her a card in our trade so no big deal to throw him in there. If I gave her a Whirlwind out of the blue, now that would be generous!

I just bought a bunch of cards and I am going through them still, but is there a list that shows what comes in silver and gold foil? Do all cards come in them? If that is the case, it will be impossible to collect them all and I will just stick to one of each card and be happy with the foil ones I get.

All 270 cards have both a silver and a gold card. It is probably virtually impossible to get the entire foil collection so its up to you if you want to get just some of them or focus on characters you like, or elements you like or whatever.

300 cards in the online game you can choose for your deck. Only 270 to physically collect. You get those 30 cards for free in the game.
