So.... Anyone read the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plot? [CLOSED]

Assuming this is legit....
supposedly this is the plot.
....Thoughts?

On the Contrary. Rowling said herself that she liked to write under a pseudonym so that nobody knew it was her.

Doesn't make sense since if she wanted her face in the paper all she needed to do was write a Harry Potter book to begin with. No need to make it insane.

The story is indeed by JK Rowling. It was a collaboration between her, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is an upcoming two-part West End stage play written by Jack Thorne and based on a story by author J. K. Rowling, Thorne and director John Tiffany. The play is scheduled to open on 30 July 2016 at the Palace Theatre, London, England. The script book will in turn be released on 31 July 2016; becoming the eighth official installment in the Harry Potter book series. The story is set nineteen years after the ending of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and follows Harry Potter, now a Ministry of Magic employee, and his younger son Albus Severus Potter.

"I went far too lightheaded with time travel" is something an author should never say with a straight face.

Unless your story is 100% time travel, you'll screw it up if it's anything over 'let's go back to the past,undo X, then immediately come back because -current plot stipulation-'. You'll ALWAYS miss something important about the lore,you'll ALWAYS gloss over a contradiction or something they could've solved while they were at it, because there's more than that mechanic at stake. Even worse in a world of magic everything.

unpopular opinion: i dont hate it
yes, it does not sound classic hp, yes it has very cheesy tropes, but as a play? idk id see it if i could. the writing is also reprised in the article, and might sound more harry-potter-y in the actual script. i just don't hate it.

I went with my friend, last night, to go to the midnight release. She got really lucky and the line happened to start where she was standing, so she got to be second in line. There was at least 200 people there, so I'm glad we didn't get stuck waiting. I was impatiently waiting for it to be over.
