Hahaha actually though, I heard the characters weren't meant to be perfect either, but fans sure treat them that way. That's what I find so odd. I ****ing hate how people treat Lapis. Especially after Barn Mates. Which is where Lapis is an actual ***** to another character for other reason other then a grudge. I don't see how you can defend that kind of behavior and justify it as good.

Right, I would respect fans if they were like "We love Lapis, but her behavior was unacceptable and she needs to learn from it. I'm glad she has flaws though, more relatable" but instead it's like "Lapis is our perfect baby, she does no wrong, other character sooo deserved it anyways uwu". That's whats toxic.

That is a point I have no info on or experience with, as I have tried to stay away from the SU drama. So I'm only speaking on what I am informed about.
But if that is a true statement that is absolutely horrible.

I watch Steven Universe. Steven himself is pretty annoying and meh. But I like the gems.

As for Lapis in Barn Mates, I do understand her side and that she wouldn't be so quick to accept someone. It was the same with the Crystal Gems when she was introduced. She's had the world **** on her time and time again as was said in her backstory. I'm waiting until an episode with her & Peridot after Barn Mates to see how things go before I judge her. Until then I feel she is fairly justified to not be open to the idea of friendship and be a little pissed, but still went a little far with it. Though by the next episode, I would think she'll begin to calm down and the two will get at least on friendly terms. If she's still as *****y then, then no.

And yeah... the fandom is pretty terrible, but I still wouldn't want to be anywhere near Undertale's.

All the comments about Undertale's confuses me. Because I have SU blacklisted on tumblr, but not Undertale and I've seen nothing extreme from Undertale, yet many filter leaks of SU.

All I've seen from Undertale is music remixes. But SU has crossed a pretty thick line by bullying people into suicide. That is flat out unforgivable.
