Well, Alice will be on the shelves tomorrow here, at least that's what amazon says. But I won't be able to get her tomorrow since all stores are closed, though I'm going to watch the new movie and get her the next day.

Soooo, I finally found Alice. Her figure is gorgeous and her gameplay is fun too (I love how she can float). And since there isn't any DI character I care about anymore, I'm done with the franchise. The characters were fun and it was a pretty game, but I never played it that much anyway. I'll try to upgrade all of my figures but after that they'll mostly serve as decoration.

Jafar was also planned

I just bought the Elsa and Anna figures. I don't really play the games but since the series is finished, I got the toys before they are eventually removed from shelves and the exposure of Disney Infinity will be wiped out of existence.

I picked up the 3 alice figures, and will definitely buy nemo and dory. don't care for their playset tho.

I liked Infinity, alot of wasted potential with this shut down. I only wish they would have at least released all of the remaining planned figures, that way at least the collection would feel complete. Hopefully some day the series will be revived, cause everything was fine with the developers on their twitter a day before the announced shut down tweeting of new releases into fall. It seems so sudden I wonder if something else happened to result in the shutdown.

^It sounds like the call came from corporate higher ups from Disney. The developers probably didn't know about talks of closing down and were still planning on later releases like everything was fine.

To me, it seems like a bit of wasted potential before it was shut down as well.

I would say lego dimensions and amiibo are the only ones left to go, but I like them. Disney Infinity never really appealed to me, all there was to do was go in sandbox.

I'm a huge Disney fan and this game pissed me off to no end. It is not for Disney fans, it is for fans of Disney's acquisitions (Star Wars, Pixar, & Marvel). They shafted actual Disney franchises time and time again.

At least they did add a classic character baloo Mickey and Minnie in 3.0

They added Star Wars and marvel because Disney made a lot of money out of the franchises since they bought them.

I do understand they are big money makers and should get some attention. It's Marvel and Star Wars, only natural. However, in the entire game's history, across all 3 games, only 1 actual Disney title got a playset. Pirates of the Carribean. Not even Frozen got one. Kinda shocking considering how over-hyped Frozen is and how much love Frozen gets. Heck, it took 2 games after Elsa & Anna got figures before Olaf was added, and fans love him. Zootopia never stood a chance of getting one and I'm surprised people actually believed it would.

Why do we have Tinker Bell but no Peter? I get Stitch is popular, but what's up with no Lilo to go with? Nightmare Before Christmas has a cult following, just walk into any Hot Topic and you should be able to tell that. So why is Jack the only character from the movie? People would go nuts for at least Sally too. What about Snow White, Aurora, Belle, or Cinderella? Even Tiana?

I get the point is to make money, but it would've probably sold a lot better and more classic Disney fans would've enjoyed it a lot more to see classic Maleficent as opposed to the Angelina Jolie version. Same goes for Alice & Mad Hatter.

I guess that's something, but why did it have to take so long after Tink? Besides that, why do I get the feeling that he wouldn't have been added at all if it wasn't for that competition?

Technically 3 did. Twilight of the Republic is a playset for 1-3. Grievous is a boss there.

Yeah a little. It was everything prequel era while Rise Against the Empire was everything during the original trilogy era, so that also had Rebels.
