Though I also really wanna see Ant-Man and Star Lord, but they'll probably only do mainline Avengers and that saddens me.

But with all this new content, it might just be enough to get me back into it after so long.

I would not expect Deadpool at all. Even if they are able to do X-men related characters, I don't see him fitting the target age group.

That would actually make more sense than Marvel in general, considering it's not Disney who owns the movie rights to them. Then again neither does Warner Bros. But then again again Disney's been making some copyright changes since Infinity got cancelled...

But anyway, I actually would kind of like to see Steven Universe in the game at some point. I don't know why, I think it would just fit.
That, and I'm also expecting Harry Potter and the new Ghostbusters movie to get some representation.

On the subject of DI shutting down and WB Games having the potential opportunity to include its property, etc., it just occurred to me: Packs based around the TV Series Star vs the Forces of Evil would be pretty rational to the game's theme. I mean if some of you watch it, you can tell by the fact that Star can jump through multiple dimensions. Pretty relevant to the story, but very unlikely it would happen. Just an idea.

Gonna try analyzing all five of these teasers for potential hints:

1: No idea which franchise. But notice how the hole in the wall is the same as the Sonic teaser
2: Gremlins of course
3: Ghostbusters Reboot
4: SANIC
5: Green empty Brady Bunch square? My guess is that it's reserved for Buttercup from PPG, according to that EB Games person. Because green square. The square color scheme also looks soft like something out of PPG...

5 is likely Powerpuffs. Looking at the original opening. Colors for the backgrounds during the origin are blue, green, pink, then yellow and the text under the vid is "It started with a bat, a wizard, and a master builder. Kinda seems analogous the whole "Sugar, spice, & everything nice" thing. Though I could be crazy and grasping here.

I'd say 4 is Sonic cause of the whole rings thing.

3 is more Ghostbusters. Probable reboot, but also could just be an expansion of the original to include the other 3 guys as opposed to just the one guy & Slimer.

2 is Gremlins then seems to possibly include Adventure Time if the background is right.

Not a clue on 1. Could not be teasing anything in specific and just the announcement that things will be announced 6/9.

That was quite exciting. Sloth was the most surprising for me because I really love Goonies and it actually took me a while to notice him.

GUYS THIS IS CONFIRMED TO JUST BE WAVE 1 OH MY LORD.

I was concerned with how Sonic's design would translate into LEGO form, but I'm really happy with how they handled it. They fused the two styles well.

Also just having all of these other great franchises has me interested, this really is Smash Bros/Kingdom Hearts tier as far as big crossovers go in terms of the IPs in it.

LEGO City: Undercover getting representation is a really nice surprise too.

I won't be picking up the game itself for a while but I will pick up the Sonic and LEGO City packs as soon as they release.

Well I might get back into this. Won't finish story mode tho. Forget about that.

Story Packs unlock a at least 6 new campaign levels and also come with a new base for the Toy Pad. You still need to buy the Starter Pack if you want to play the game
