WHOA! That is like saying "Who doesn't like Ocarina Of Time" or "Who doesn't like Super Mario Bros."

I think it's a legitimately awful game, the most overrated piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure of spending my money on.

I don't like the characters or the setting. The game is the ugliest game I've ever played (I'm not just talking about graphics, I know it's a PS1 game, but the environments are literally pixelated Jpegs pasted onto the background). I got lost for about half an hour because I couldn't see a ladder and even as Cloud started climbing up said ladder I couldn't see the ladder so he was just climbing up a wall as far as I'm concerned. The classes don't make any sense (What the heck is a "Soldier/Mercenary"?). I died because I was at the part where you had to get out before the place exploded but I couldn't find the invisible ladder. There are way better games in the series, and yet everybody worships the ground that it walks on, they've already made a movie about it and now they're making a remake.

It hit the polygon ceiling pretty hard and the plot is really weak in my opinion, but being the one that played and loved FFXII(can't wait for the remaster!) I'm not one to talk.

Actually, being on the PS1 isn't an excuse either, because guess what else is on the PS1

Final Fantasy VI is the best one without a doubt.

I like none of the Final Fantasy games, if that's anything for ya! Although, I like FF7 the most, so I don't know.

Final Fantasy X is my favorite. I liked the gameplay of XII, but the story was just too hard to follow and I was too scared to stray off the beaten path because the last time I did that I got eaten by a T-Rex. Final Fantasy XIII has a good story, but the gameplay is uninspired, and would have probably made a better movie (Kind of like how Spirit Within was just a movie, except Spirit Within had nothing to do with Final Fantasy).

FFXII actually gets too easy if you do stray. It's chock full of extra areas and bosses and I ended up 20 levels over the final boss and I gave up on most of the endgame summons. The story is actually really simple(save world from evil empire with magic stuff) but it tries to be fancy with narration and politics and it definately overwhelms.
In my case though, I had a long break after I think Paramina Rift and when I came back I noticed I didn't remember or cared about all the fancy names and titles and the story got 100% better.

I've never even played a Final Fantasy game before, so.

VII is okay, in my opinion, though IX is my favorite.

I'm also one of the very few people that actually liked XIII.
