Or do you focus on a select few? Your favorites or ones that need upgrading/leveling up?

I ask as I really want to play with my entire collection but I have so many that it's kind of overwhelming trying to.

I feel a little overwhelmed by how many of them I have but I like to focus on them in groups. Play a little bit of xyz game with the Swap Force, then some more of the other with the Trap Masters, then the Cores I have. I sorta mash the Superchargers and Giants together since I don't have that many of either.

Mostly the same.

I just pick whoever I randomly feel like playing as at the time.

Granted, I don't buy that many Skylanders compared to a lot of people, and I certainly don't buy a bunch of characters I don't like just for completion's sake. I always get a gimmicklander of each element (or simply a core of each element for SSA), and then after that I only buy what I really like.

since i've traded away most of my characters, i play with the ones i have... most of them are from trap team. (echo, krypt king, knight light, knight mare, blackout, flip wreck, gnarly Barkley)

At a time? Only a select few per playthrough. Generally at the beginning of a playthrough I choose one of each element to play as, although post-Swap Force I've just been going with whatever, given that elements do next to nothing. The only exception is first playthrough, in which I end up focusing on characters I'm actively getting. But this behavior is new with Trap Team, given the easy leveling and treasure gain that started in that title.

Ultimately, yes I do use my whole collection. Although there's a few I haven't used too extensively yet: most of the Swap Force, given I only got them for their bottom halves, and Series 2+ characters that I already have the Series 1 for.

Since it's a small collection, everyone, though I sometimes neglect them.
Most of the time, the day before I'm like 'hm I feel like playing as X' and I set them aside for the session, usually I go through most of them very easily but sometimes Trigger Happy or my Gill Grunts get forgotten for several weeks because I hardly ever feel like using them.

I usually play through a game the first time with a 'team' of 8-10 Skylanders, usually my favourite of whoever was introduced that game. Post-game I just grab whichever 'lander I feel like from my collection.

I've ended up with the 'team' Skylanders all maxed and the rest at super low levels. Not super fussed about maxing them all (boy would that take a while) but recently I've been grabbing someone unfamiliar to raise a level or two when I play.

I have a select few I use a ton like Thumpback, Thrillipede, Trap Shadow, Enigma, and Bowser to name a few, but I try to keep a variety of my characters interesting. Sometimes they're like games; I can go months without even touching some of them but there are periods of time where I play as them extensively. I haven't touched Fright Rider in a year or so but recently he has started growing on me and I like him a lot more now that he's fully upgraded.

I play with all of them because really I got a stacked army. I get the characters from each game that look and are powerful. Since I have so many I start from the front of my collection and work my way to the back then back to the front again

Every year I replay the game with a "set" of my old characters. So I played Superchargers with my 8 cores, and I may do it again with my Giants, or I'll play Imaginators with them, etc.

I try my best to play each of them equally (which is easier to do now that I only have 1 version of each character *Superchargers & Minis as an exception), but end up only playing my favorites after awhile...

I strictly buy characters that look like tons of fun to me, so I will generally play all mine. I only have about 20-40 (never truly counted) so I'll rotate through them a lot. I do have my favorites though.

Usually just Spyro, Cynder and the rest of the quadrupeds. There's some figures I haven't touched since Giants

I would never buy a skylander that I would not play with at least a little bit .

I have played all of them some, obviously. Most of the characters from the first 3 games have reached at least level 15.
But there are some that have barely gotten any time since Giants.

Though I recently played Trap Team on Nightmare (almost the whole thing today) and had 24 characters die on the final boss, so I got some use out of some that I otherwise probably would not have used much.

Right now I'm only playing as the ones who need upgrading, which are most of my Superchargers.
But usually, I'll select a few.

Yea, I mean like half my collection is at level 1 with 0 coins

i play them all from ssa to ssc, it takes me months to get through the game. i will never sell any of my skylanders!

In every game I upgrade my Skylanders to have all their upgrades and all the levels possible. In STT it took me a LONG time, mainly because I wanted to reset them all and wipe the slate called 'Quests and Heroic Challenges' clean, as I wanted them to play the same from their source game to the most recent. If I hated Trap Team, I would've been scarred I tell ya...

Well, the first two waves of a game always get a bunch of attention since I use them to play the game obviously. In Trap Team I didn't play the arena battles until later waves were released so that they get some love too. Oh and let's not forget the Adventure packs of SSF and STT, they also helped most of the Wave 3 characters to be in the spotlight. And of course Hex, I have a yearly tradition that I play at least one chapter only with her and I didn't break it so far. I played probably 80% of SSA with her and she was active in Giants here and there too. I admit there are a lot of characters I played like 5-6 times, but everyone had at least one day filled with attention.

No, I have too many. But I rotate between favorites and ones that needed leveling up or ones I haven't played with in a while.

I love how when I give a character more of a chance and spend time playing with them, I usually like them more.

Yep. I have approximately 120 characters, and they are all level 20 with, for most of them, well over 10,000 coins. That's why I haven't played the game in a while. It got boring not being able to upgrade. :/

I usually just use the current year's figures to play the current year's game. I typically only bring out the older figures to scan them into the collection screen.

SuperChargers was a little different, since it provided the ability to buy both upgrade paths on any Skylander. I have all 294 characters, and they are all level 20 with both upgrade paths purchased. So I got to briefly play around with characters I haven't really used in a long time.

Still hoping to find the time to replay SSA and SG to finish a bunch of the heroic challenges I never got around to doing, but only on my SSA and SG figures.

Well I joined at giants...i played mostly all the series 2 and the forgotten 8 at least a few times. Then i got a 2nd full time job and for swap and trap team ive mostly just played the few I liked, thou I did play all the swappers to max lvl. Superchargers i honestly havent played more then 2min demo of, temp house is cramped, no room to really play anything.

I usually collect characters in groups of eight, and I generally only get a fixed amount of one type of Skylander; this makes it easier for me to use each of my characters, with groupings of a certain type or gimmick serving as "squads" for each game's playthrough. After beating the game in a save file, I allow for mixed-gimmick crossover of my other characters. So basically, yes, I use all my figures in some capacity.

Note that SuperChargers and (at the moment) Traps break this "rule of eight", since I currently own only 11 Traps (stoopid scalpers) and both my New and Reimagined Squads of SuperChargers have seven members each (DK and Bowser fill the missing slots).

Well, now that I found a really good place to gain experience (Kaos in Superchargrers), I am working on getting everyone to level 20, so by the end of the day today, I will, between yesterday and today, have used all of them.

I have seventy Skylanders so...yes, actually! I love assembling them like a mini-army, and hope to make my collection grow even larger.

I have used every character I've bought and I have bought them all. I still have some things left to do on superchargers, but Fallout 4 is currently taking my time.

When i buy a new game, i cycle all the skylanders i bought before that game. I try to level up the new ones, because i have too many old ones that are higher in level anyways. Unless things get too tough, then i use my maxed out Spyro. But it's never usually that bad
