Sybil was very relieved to hear that. He was a crocodile after all, and it was very hard to penetrate that hide, but even with that, she was still worried.
"Well, I did scold him for making such a stupid move, but come on, that can't possibly be the reason. I don't want anyone here with a death wish." Sybil said, not wanting to feel guilty, especially when there was something more important to worry about.
"I know one thing for sure; he swam right towards Jhen. I think he knew he was on hunting mode..." Sybil then said, and started pondering very hard. Both her and Sayan were right at the edge of the water when Jhen attacked. Was it possible that Crocux did that to save their lives?

Besides them, Dagger was still pacing nervously, and Whirlpool was the one noticing this. He wanted to believe it was because he was an impatient youth, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to it...

Cairo was still in the hunt, and after several minutes, he could only find one fish. That drought was horrible, and the food was so scarce, he was starting to understand why Jhen was so desperate. With that small fish, Cairo came to offer it to him, hoping that could help a little. But he knew that soon, he was going to get hungry again, and could actually kill someone the next time. What could be done? He couldn't go with the pod. He didn't have the strength to stand the journey. Cairo knew that with that state, he was going to either starve to death or feed on the Haven residents...

Jack shook his head "on it wasn't you Sybil. he was just fine all day today. for him to do that now it was someone else all together. but who?"

Dagger seemed even more nervous, convincing Whirlpool that he definitely was hiding something. The wombat looked at him with suspicion, and that was enough for Dagger to spill the beans.
"I saw the crocodile talk to Mr. Cairo! I don't know what they said, but Mr. crocodile seemed upset about it!" Dagger said rather quickly, feeling horrible. He felt like he was betraying Cairo in saying that. It turned out that shortly after Dagger left Sybil on the beach, Cairo came shortly after that, but instead of returning to the pod, he was waiting for Cairo when he saw him talking to Crocux.

"Just what we feared... an orca attack." Sybil replied in a neutral tone, deeply upset.
"Listen Sozen, now that you're here, see if you can get some fish from the lake." Sybil said hoping that Sozen with his big talons could catch some. She didn't know if he was going to succeed considering those fishes were very deep, but they needed to rely on Sozen right about now.

Before explaining more, Sybil left Whirlpool and Jack do their work, while she headed to the shore once more, to where she last saw Cairo stopping Jhen. She didn't even cared if Jhen was still around. She trusted that Jet and Ellen would keep him under control.
"CAIRO! CAIRO WHERE ARE YOU?" she yelled, now believing that it was he the one to blame for Crocux's depressed spirit. She didn't have to wait for long, since Cairo was returning to the shore after leaving the fish to Jhen. He needed to know how things were going...

Jack was pissed off "that huge orca? okay next time I see him he's getting a pice of my mind!" he said before Sybil left, he then procided to help Whirlpool out.

"No... no... violence... no..." Whirlpool said to Jack, loathing violence with all his might, especially now after that dreadful war. The drought was enough suffering for them to have somebody full of hatred at the Haven.

After hearing Sybil, Cairo headed there obediently, but got quite scared when he saw her angry. After Sybil explained everything Dagger told her, Cairo simply sighed.
"Look, I just expressed my opinion. That is all. How could I have known that dumb croc would go that far?" Cairo said in defense, now disliking Crocux more than ever for doing something so stupid and inflicting fear on the Haven residents. With Jhen's attack, it was probable that they were going to fear his kind.
"Look, I don't know why Crocux did what he did, but nevertheless, his action saved Sayan and me. We were at the shore talking, and if it wasn't for Crocux exposing himself, he could have attacked either of us!" Sybil explained, coming to Crocux's defense. However, that wasn't enough to convince Cairo.
"Well whatever his reason, he made things worse. He could have simply warned you instead of exposing himself. He is dangerous! Now not only will the fear of us attacking will rise, but he is dangerous himself. Didn't you hear that he attacked Raphael during one of the games? That's why we don't want to play with him, and yet he complained." Cairo expressed, making good points, but nevertheless, the discussion continued, with Sybil trying to convince Cairo that he did harm to the crocodile...

Jack stormed over to Cairo and yelled "what's ****ing wrong with you!? you know what it was your fault that he got this depressed, he already felt bad about attacking Raph but you had to make it worse. because of how insensitive you were he wasn't thinking strait and didn't even realize he went out into the water. he wouldn't fight back because he wanted to show that he wouldn't hurt anyone unless he was forced to. even if it ment getting himself killed. he especially wouldn't hurt an orca after YOU save his life! He owes you his life! he wants to be your friend and this is how you treat him!? my family has dealt with Shadow's type before some were worse then him some no as bad as him but none of them even Shadow would do this to someone who wanted to be their friend. I see orcas as equals but you Cairo, you're a monster."

Sybil was growing terrified at the chimp's furious speech, and she knew that if there was something an orca truly despised, was to feel disrespected, especially one as prideful and imposing as Cairo.
"Jack, please, keep it down..." Sybil whispered nervously in mid speech, but he just kept on. Cairo stared with bone-chilling eyes, clearly not liking to be insulted.
"Are you sure you want to continue lecture me monkey? You don't want to see an orca mad..." Cairo said in an eerily calm voice, getting closer to the chimp but Sybil got in his way.
"Now Cairo, don't make a scene here! You know he has every right to be mad!" Sybil explained, confronting him. Cairo didn't retreated, but at least he stopped. He continued to glare at Jack, and probably would have attacked him if Sybil wasn't there...

Jack stood their unafraid and unarmed "that threat just proved my point. You threaten my life because I'm stating the truth. you're worse then Shadow ever was monster." he then turned and marched back to Crocux to tend to Crocux's wounds. "oh and by the way Crocux has suffered wounds like this in the past and sometimes he walked away with permanent damage. if that damage gets worse, I'll hold you souly responsible. because it wouldn't be my fault, not Crocux or Jhen's fault, your's and yours alone to blame." then continued to move to Crocux's side to tend to his wounds.

It was lucky that Jack walked away, since Sybil was certain she wouldn't have been able to contain Cairo for long. One thing was to be called a monster, but being compared to Shadow really ticked him off.
"Sybil! You can't let him get away with this!" Cairo said furiously, now regretting not catching Jack and giving him a lesson.
"You started! Honestly, you're better than this Cairo!" Sybil yelled, scolding Cairo severely. But he remained indifferent.
"Miss Sybil, you know I have done nothing but to protect this Haven and it's residents! I won't stand insults from that bipedal freak of nature!" Cairo said, incredibly angry, scaring even Sybil. And before she could reply, he continued.
"I just stated my opinion to the crocodile! There is no crime in that! If he took offense to that, then that's his problem! Really now, can't anyone have liberty of expression anymore? Don't you remember? The same thing happened to you with that eagle, Sozen!" Cairo expressed, bringing Sybil to a complete silence.
"Man, this Haven really isn't the way it use to be. Now some of it's residents think they can insult us and get away with it... Well then, if that monkey that if he wants me to be a monster, then I'll be one... but just for him! If he dares to show his face to me again, he'll be dinner!" Cairo said, filled with rage, retreating into the ocean.

Sybil was horrified with what she just heard, and even started to tremble. As she saw Cairo retreating, she tried to call him back.
"CAIRO! YOU COME BACK HERE! CAIRO!" she screamed, but Cairo continued retreating until he disappeared underwater. Sybil was pacing nervously along the sand, really anxious. Her beloved Haven was really declining. The drought, the aftermath of the war, and now the Haven residents having heavy disputes and the risk of the beach becoming the orca's hunting grounds...

"Good good. Now, leave it around there." Sybil signaled, pointing at where Jhen was last seen. She then realized that she stopped giving a daily lake fish to the orcas like she promised, which is why probably all that happened.
"Remain nearby Sozen. We may need you seen again." Sybil expressed, knowing that with Crocux injured, she was going to need his help now more than ever.

She then walked to Jack, increasingly worried about him.
"Well Jack. You certainly done it. I know you have every right to be mad, but you shouldn't have spoken to Cairo like that." Sybil said, uncertain for how long she was going to be able to protect him from the furious orca. She knew Cairo very well, and knew he could be extremely dangerous when angry.

Jack scoffed at that "please it isn't like I was exaggerating. I said it as it was, I don't sugar coat it especially if it's someone responsible for this. he had it coming to him and he has no proof that says that he's in the right."

"I'm not saying that he's right. I'm just saying you should have used a gentler tone. An orcas's ego is thinner than an egg shell." Sybil warned, knowing that heavily applied to Cairo.
"He isn't a monster... but... let's just say you must stay away from him for a while." Sybil suggested, not knowing whether Cairo's threat was just under the same anger or if he really meant it.

It was getting much late at night, and the pod was growing desperate. Finally, Cairo came to them, along with the following Dagger. He gave the young orca to his mother, and asked her a favor.
"Ellen, will it be alright if you lead the pod for a while? I promise I will catch up with you later." he said, with Ellen being worried, but then imagined it was to help Jhen get better. After making the announcement, Ellen lead the pod through the current, thankfully everybody making it, even in their tired, hungry state. Cairo then swam to check on Jhen, hoping that with the few fish he, Jet and the volunteer brought him would be enough to at least help him go through the night.

AJ: After some rest, I wake up and see Sybil pacing. Knowing something is wrong, I silently stalk her, getting closer and closer. As soon as I am within range, I pounce, tackling Sybil, with a giggle.
"Hello, Sybil," I say as I roll onto my back, ready to play.

Jhen can not even look Jet in the eyes, let alone speak to him. He had attacked and nearly killed a member of Haven, a friend. They must all think him a monster and his role model, Jet, must as well. After eating the fish that Jet and the volunteer brought, he swims away, vanishing into a natural cave within the rainbow coral reef, within his home. This is where he rest at night and this is where he will die. Jhen would rather starve to death than hurt another soul due to his hunger.

Cairo arrived just in time to see Jhen leave. Seeing that the orca was a bit fed and that he wasn't on hunting mode anymore, he didn't try to stop him, knowing that he needed time alone.
"This is what miss Sybil was so afraid of Jet. I didn't want to believe it, but it actually happened." Cairo said, still refusing to believe it. He was horrified to think that if it was Sybil the one who got attacked, she would certainly wouldn't have survived.
"This is why I invited you to join us in the journey. I know you want to help, but what help could you be if you too become too hungry?" Cairo explained, now truly believing that his own kind could really turn on their non-orca if they were hungry enough.

Sybil was rather surprised that AJ now had the energy to play, considering how exhausted he was just mere minutes earlier.
"Hey AJ... are you... alright?" she asked, wondering if he was aware of at least part on what was going on right now. It terrified her how just minutes ago the margay was out there, exposed to the then hunting Jhen, and that if it wasn't for Crocux getting him out of the way when he did, the margay probably wouldn't have been there right now, talking and playing with her.

Cairo then had an idea that could possibly help.
"Then I'll have to venture beyond the current and hunt something extremely big for the three of you. And once you recover some of your energy, all three of you will have to come with me. We can't risk anything now. We can't risk the three of you either starving to death or attacking the Haven residents." Cairo expressed, knowing that the drought could continue for months more, and with Light Beach, it was possible for the Haven residents to feel too tempted and risk being dragged away. One way or another, either the orcas or the Haven residents were going to die if they stayed behind.

Guardian came to the cave entrance and said to Cole "when you can, can you please take me to the beach?"

"I'm not sure sir. You still haven't healed completely." Cole expressed, not wanting to risk transporting him there and reopen his still healing wounds.

Meanwhile, Ellen left with the pod, acting as a temporary leader. The group became extremely worried and even paranoid on what will be the fate of their starving companion. And they were very afraid that what happened to Jhen would eventually happen to Heede and thei beloved leader Jet, and in a worst case scenario, Cairo as well if he stayed behind for too long. Ellen however, tried to raise their spirits, reminding them that their orca companions and the Haven residents had faced many hard trials before, and that at the end, they will be victorious as always since they were all survivors.

AJ: "Yeah, I think so. I was so exhausted, I never saw it coming, but Crocux pushed me out of the way and saved you as well as Uncle Sayan. Is Crocux, going to be alright? How about Jhen," I ask worriedly. I hope that after this we can play because I really don't want to think about this.

Jhen only goes deeper into the cave. He does not want to speak at all right now. Though seeing Jet and him being determined, he breaks his silence.
"Go away," he says.

Sybil could see that AJ was trying to force himself to forget that all of that never happened, but it did, and talking about it was a priority to avoid incidents like that.
"I'm not sure about Jhen, but Crocux will be alright." she answered. Trusting Jack's words on that matter.
"Sozen and some of the orcas brought food for Jhen, so he's be alright." Sybil declared to make AJ stop worrying, but she now knew that would be for a little while before Jhen got hungry again.
"But now more than ever, we need to stay away from the water." Sybil finally warned, knowing that would mean Jhen starving, but she didn't know what else to do.

Cairo was getting tired of Jhen's behavior, and suspecting he was either going to stay there until he starved or attack the Haven residents again out of mere instincts, he made up his mind.
"That's it. Jhen, you are going with me to the Antarctica. All of us!" he said, referring to Jet and Heede as well.
"I'm going to find you all a large meal, and once you recover part of your energy, we will begin the journey." he said determined, heading to the current. He knew he would have to feed himself first since he hasn't eaten since the morning and playing with Rose took away some of his energy. But as he headed his way, he could only hope that the a haven residents stayed on land and prevent another incident like that.

Guardian scoffed at it "hogwash. I'll be fine. I just don't want to freeze before I get down their is all."

Cole imagined Guardian was going to come down regardless on whether he landed his help or not, he obliged to his demands.
"Alright you. Come on." he said, carrying Guardian down with his talons. His wings had rested, but they were still very tired nonetheless.

Further into the ocean, Cairo successfully managed to get through the current, and started hunting. Food sources were quite hard to find with the drought, but luckily, he managed to find a group of chinook and had a feast. And to add his luck, hunting too was a rogue tiger shark, who was after the same school of fish. It was quite a big one. It was hard for an orca to take down a shark by itself, but thanks to Cairo's humongous size, it took him just a little while to kill it and carry it back to the Haven waters. Despite tiger sharks not being that big, Cairo hoped it was enough for the three starving friends.

Cairo overpasses the current with difficulty due to his now large belly, but succeeds nonetheless, carrying with him the food that was so urgently needed. He spent almost two hours feeding himself and bringing that shark down, so he truly hoped nothing has happened since then.

Back at the beach, Cole brought Guardian gently onto the sand.
"Here we are. But if I get scolded for this, I'm taking it out on you." the bulky kea warned, though it sounded more like a joke than a threat.

Guardian smiled "well if you get scolded then they'll have to hear it from me." he went over to see Crocux. once in ear shot he says "damn it Crocux, not again. okay what happened this time?" Jack explains and Guardian says "well your gonna wish Sybil let Cairo eat yea in a minute!" Jack got scared and ran. Guardian just sat their shaking his head in disapproval "I sware, that chimps heart is in the right place but he's always getting into trouble."

After Sybil was done giving AJ the warning, she went to see how Crocux was doing. She was more than surprised when she saw Guardian there.
"Guardian!? What the heck are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be resting?" she asked, sounding more like a scold. Guardian looked much better than before, but his wounds were still there.

"Jet!" Cairo called, wanting to show that help was on the way.

Cairo brought him the shark, knowing that would be somewhat enough.
"Look Jet. Just what we need. Now gather Heede as well. You three must eat. We are leaving first thing in the morning." Cairo said, knowing that many dangerous predators were more active at night, and they had abetter chance traveling during the day.

Guardian says "I'm here because the Haven needs me and because I need to speak with you in privet. our talk can wait though." He looked at Cairo and said "I'm so sorry Cairo for Jack's behavior, he was wrong to insult you and never should have. he's always had a thing for getting his harry ass into trouble and getting in over his head. he just feels the need to defend his brother from being picked on."

AJ: I nod as Sybil tells me to stay away from the water. I understand the danger, and will obey her. "I promise."

Meanwhile Jhen comes out of his cave and speaks. He is furious that Cairo is treating him the way he is. Not as big as Cairo but still not about to back down, Jhen looks him straight in the eyes. "How dare you! You think this is easy for me? Ha! I fought my hunger and instincts until I could no longer. I attacked several members of Haven, our friends and badly injured another. Do you have any idea how much that hurt me, how much it still is? No, you don't," Jhen says munching away with the others at the tiger shark.

Meanwhile Royal and Jaerl as spreading seeds, with the warblers and others. They want the forest back. Finally Shadow has defeated and the war is over. The one that fell for victory, will always be remembered.

Crocux came to and said "Jhen I know it isn't your fault. don't worry I've been delt with far worse and lived. I was careless, I was depressed because the pod was scared of me. I don't want anyone to be afraid of me. I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize I was in the water. I knew you were their but it's because of my actions you acted on instinct and attacked. I'm so so sorry. this is all my fault. now everyone will be afraid you orcas because of me, it's all my fault. I'm so sorry." Crocux was crying.

Cairo couldn't understand why Jhen was taking so much offense to his helping, but like with Jack before him, he wasn't going to stand being yelled at.
"What is your problem? I'm just trying to help! Precisely to avoid you from attacking anyone else I'm bringing you this shark! Taking from my own time and energy to help you!" Cairo said furiously in his thundering voice, not liking Jhen's attitude one bit.

OOC: They are all underwater, so Guardian can't talk to Cairo

"Can we do it right now? I don't want anything pending." Sybil said, wanting to resolve whatever problem there was right now. Since she doubted she was going to be in the mood tomorrow. She didn't even noticed that Crocux was exposing himself again by swimming towards the four orcas.

Guardian says "well the subject I find is privet and should be talked about in privet."

"Alright..." Sybil said, concerned, as she carried him to one of the few patches of dense foliage that was still intact on the forest.
"Now will you tell me right now? You got me anxious here." she urged, fidgeting, wanting to know what was so private, and why Guardian needed to talk to her in particular.

"Well Jet. Are you too going with me to the Antarctica? Don't worry about the transportation. I bet Sozen would help the Haven residents if they need a ride to Hunted island." Cairo explained, knowing that the Haven residents will do fine without them. He didn't like Sozen very much, but knew that he could help.

Guardian says "the other day when I spoke my "last wishes" I was being... ah what's the word? dramic? ah what ever, my point is I wasn't thinking strait when I said those things. well I'm thinking strait now and I'm not dieing yet. so first off no matter what the case was then I was dead serious about one thing. we're a lot alike. I feel akin with you and the offer is still their if you want to become a member of my family, as my sister."

Sybil remained silent for a while, them couldn't help but smile.
"Was that it? Well that's a relief. I thought you were going to scold me or something due to Cairo threatening Jack." she said, having been nearby when the chimp brought his comp,wins to the cobra.

Guardian laughed "are you kidding!? that stupid chimp is always getting himself in over his head. in fact I should thank you for not letting him get eaten since now I can punish him myself." he then says "so what do yea say? wanna join the family sis?"

Sybil was a bit uncomfortable on how Guardian was taking all of that way too well, but nonetheless, proceeded to answer.
"Well... um... I suppose." she said, too bashful to give a straight answer.
"Hey, you shouldn't worry about Cairo. He has a lot of pride, but he really means well. His threat was just out of mere anger." Sybil assured, changing the subject quickly. She knew that Cairo could be a big brute, but she believed that it was only a matter of time before his anger is subsided and Jack cold be safe.

Guardian nodded "of corse. I had no need to worry anyways. if he was a brute then we wouldn't be here right now. I've been known to say and do thing I've never ment out of anger in my younger days." he then proceeded to the next subject "now then next up my successor. In my opinion Crocux is the best canidet to be my successor, he's rough around the edges but he's got the heart and the potential. what do you think."
