Card levels questions...

So I notice no change in any values as I level the cards up what's the point of the level if the values don't change?

Also I was leveling up concussion and got a silver that leveled it to 10 the I got another regular and it said can't be added. So is there a limit to the number of cards you can use to level up?

Are some cards just maxed at 10 instead of 20? Cause I have a hold spell card and that is maxed 10 not 20?

Any help in these questions would be great. Thanks

Cards will only go up in level if they are in your deck, so you need to build your deck and those cards that you win with will go up in level. If you do a fight and lose, the cards will not go up. Experience on a skylander might (its changed over the months so I forget), but the deck cards will not.

All cards can go up to level 20.

I have cards that are maxed at level 10 they are gold and says level ten and will not allow for anymore leveling. I understand how the leveling works.

I bought a ton of packs for my kids I'm saying we leveled up some with the cards and then it says you can't use the card anymore after it reached level 10 on a different card.

But I do have some cards that are gold level 10 and can not be leveled anymore by money or cards or tickets.

Gold lever 10 is max.
First you level to silver (10) then another 10 to make it gold. 10+10=20

Yes, but what do the Card Levels actually mean? What is their function and purpose?

@TheToyNerd

Because unlike other CCGs where you can include more than 1 copy of a card in a deck. Battlecast follows the one time forever keep system.

Opening dupes would be wasteful in this case but as we can see, they circumvented that frustration by giving cards the leveling system so you will eventually start cashing back gold once you surpass the level 10 threshold.

In otherwords, its pretty much a progression system to allow the incentive of opening digital packs without feeling cheated when you keep opening dupes at any stage in the game.

Levels don't affect the power of a card (from what I can tell).

The only place I've seen Level matter is on the Skylander cards in Story Mode.

For example, if you click on the final Kaos area before you've unlocked it, the pre-reqs will tell you that you need to complete the previous area(s) as well as have a Skylander Level of 61 or higher.

Your current Skylander Level can be found in the upper right corner of this same screen. It is the combine total of all your Skylanders' levels.

Wow, did not realize that the skylander level mattered vs just beat on your chest and proudly say, I am level 350, or whatever your level may be.

Maybe it's to slow down cheats so you can't enter Kaos Island(Kaos' Lair? Articles said both) early with something that removes the "beat previous Island) requirement. Dunno, trying to wrap my head around getting the game compatible to begin with at this point while Let's Plays are at Fire Realm.
