So, recently, when I go on forum.darkspyro.net, there will occasionally be a pop-up link that tells me that my Adobe Flash Player needs to be upgraded. It always automatically downloads the software, and once it is downloaded, 360 Total Security will report to me that there was a virus encrypted into the file and that it had quarantined the virus. The virus is not causing any issues on my computer, but it is just bothering me that every time I go on darkSpyro, a scam tries to put a virus onto my computer. Has anyone else had an issue with this "Adobe Flash Player upgrade"? Is there anything we can do about it? I can handle the issue if we can't, but I would just prefer the issue being managed for a more efficient experience when on the forums. Thank you in advance.

Curse Forums' shady ads once again, I think Dark doesn't have much say on those. I just have AdBlock,NoScript and RequestPolicy all at once, it's not the first of their forums that has incredibly laggy or dangerous ads.

I've been getting those too, ... alas, I don't have adblock or the like.

Seriously, browsing the internet with some kind of ad blocking software is like driving without a seat belt or relations without condoms. You're only asking for trouble. I recommend AdBlock and Ghostry myself.

I use Adblock. Blocks out all the annoying ads, including youtube ads~

I've been getting Pop Ups, too. What a shame!

As others have already suggested, get Adblock.

I have been trying to figure out which ad is causing this, but I do not believe it is any ad on the page... It has to be some type of background ad. I have not gotten the pop-up anytime today, but if I do, I will give information such as URL coding and such to see if that helps.

Ghostery shows all the blocked ads and trackers' site names(DoubleClick, GoogleAdServices,etc) for me, about 17. I can't get the list on my phone, but anyone else near a pc could probably enter DS with it and write them so it can be narrowed down.

Managed to get a screenshot of it when it popped up on my screen a few minutes ago.



It randomly popped up on a new tab when I was scrolling through the Role Play forums. It never pops up on any specific forum or thread, but it only seems to pop up when I am on forum.darkspyro.net, never on darkspyro.net.

Use Adblock. I use one and it's kinda very but very good.
