but you see, gems, in their base form on the internet, are meaningless.

they don't buy you food, change the world, or, heck, even get you friends...

the more time we spend here, the more our gems go up

the more our gems go up, the more we don't want to go out and have real experiences on our own

in the real world.

the more our gems go up, the stronger the call to this website gets.

and who can blame us? the outside world is so cold, so barren..

so boring.

why would we want any part in that boring, mundane existence that everyone else lives?

until, of course, we realize that that is exactly what we are doing here.

wasting away, telling jokes, gaining gems...

but what do the gems mean?

nothing.

same thing as with the rest of the world. people waste away their time, earning money and surviving, never truly living.

and what are we doing here?
