Anyone know where I could find the Air mini's for a reasonable price? I was hoping they'd go on sale like the other mini's have on Amazon.com but instead the price skyrocketed.

If you've been holding back on Super Chargers like me because of the increased price, now might be the time to jump back in as they'll be on sale at Toys r us!

Got the last Playstation 3 starter pack at TRU since it was a low price.
Prefer it to the WiiU version since the control/ gamepad are a pain to charge.

I just ordered the PS4 Dark Starter, despite the fact my regular one is PS4. Kinda wanted the Xbox One version, that way if I've got two copies I can play it on two machines! I also ordered that Legendary racing set, I couldn't bring myself to buy it at $50 with taxes. That paint jobs on it were horrible on every single one I saw in store on release

Buzz Wing bought at TRU (for $10!) and Thrillipede bought at EB. This game is officially done!

I found Buzz Wing at EB in Milton, Ontario. no sign of Thrillipede, but the store clerk did an area search and had one ordered in for me from another branch nearby.

I've confirmed to myself the existence of Battlecast packs at EB Games. They have booster packs of different sizes there. Anybody see them yet?

I could get some, but I sit at the risk of wasting money if the app is broken, as I'm usually afraid apps I never used may crash at will.

I've seen Battlecast booster packs at TRU (GTA, Oakville specifically).

Got my Thrillipede. If you want him and the EB Games by you doesn't have him yet, try searching the product on the website and you can see his availability - looks like it's a slow rollout.

Oh and I guess they cut corners and didn't paint in his pupils? Sigh.

I have checked EB Games and found nothing for Imaginators right now. I'm pretty sure pre-orders will be up soon. If anybody sees them, let me know. Hope there's a pre-order bonus. (Because I don't think the previous two games had them here)

Skylanders Superchargers is only $30 this week at EB Games! I don't have the game, but I don't have the money for it. Damn, and I spent most of it yesterday.

Also at EB Games, Buy one get two all Superchargers figures. That sucks...

Hey everyone. Been gone for a long time but back into skylanders. Anyways ebgames has a great deal of buy one figure or vehicle get 2 free. So that's a pretty nice deal if you ask me. I'll probably pick up some with that deal. Really you pay for 2 figures and get 6. I haven't been collecting at all since the release because I love to do summer hunting. Cause I got more time and I'm more into it. I can get everyone I want now because I really didn't want much figures to begin with I already have a great army as it is.

Well I was able to hit up the nearest Eb games today and for less then $200 get a good chunk of the figures


The only problem is I couldn't get the entire set in one swoop as I still need 6 vechles, 4 figures and 2 racing packs!

Nice sales, but I already got everything from previous sales. Still no sign of regular Thrillipede for me...

Thinking about it some more I'm going to take back some of the stuff I just picked up like the water racing pack and Kaos trophie

The downside of waiting this long is that some of the figures are simply out of print making them more expensive to aquire on ebay. I'm going to make things simple for myself and just get the new figures with their asscociated vehicle and skip out on the reposes of older figures.

This will cut the cost for me alot since then I'd only need 4 more figures and 3 more vehicles. If I can land those for buy 1 get 2 free or at least on sale I'll keep my total in a much more comfortable range.

Not sure what I'm going to do with imaginators since those look to be even more expensive overall judging by the preorder price on Eb games right now being $95

I'm starting to think of waiting with future games, I think with Superchargers its still fairly easy to get almost everything? Buying the Dark Starter for PS4 with the recent sale at TRU saved almost $100. I waited on a sale at EB to grab the WiiU starter too. I think the days of thinks skyrocketing on the secondary market are over!

I was at an EB Games carrying multiple Giants starter packs. It was the same EB Games where I got a $20 Giants Wii U starter pack, but now I figure out all Giants packs are $10; half the price than last year.

For the price of one single skylander, is the same price for three, one of them being a giant, as well as a portal, a game, and other small goodies. Logic. Guess they just want them out of their stores.

A local EB manager's exact words yesterday "I just want these damn things gone!" and another at a different location "Oh god, they announced another one! They need to stop!" I don't get the huge backlash against Toys To Life at EBgames!? I'm guessing with all the Amiibo chaos (shortages) it drove them over the edge!

I'm slightly frustrated! Why is the Crash starter pack $45 more then the regular!? Seriously!? The regular starter is $84.99 in Canada, while the "Crash" one is $129.99 at EBgames and $139.99 at Best Buy!? Sure they added another figure, but that's outrageous. Especially when chances are he will be released separately down the road. At least with the Dark starter you're getting an extra figure AND two extra creation crystals. I was super excited for Crash, and play on PS4 anyway but for that I think I'll hold out.

It probably contains more stuff than just Crash in addition to the regular Starter figures, cause otherwise yeah, ridiculous price.

Microplay (videotron) actually have some deals for Skylander superchargers (and trap team).
They have some difficulties to sell them, so we'll see them in clearance for a while.
My local Microplay have a whole lot of trap team figures in a buy 2 get 1 deal. Not as good as Ebgames, eh.

I mentioned this earlier somewhere, but a few weeks ago, EB Games admitted they have stopped taking all preowned skylanders. When I heard that, I thought "Aww shihz". Preowned skylanders are the reason why I was collecting figures from the first games like crazy. Well in the long run, if I want to expand the collection I might as well order on Amazon. However, I'm still seeing skylanders at dollar stores like Dollarama, even giants such as Ninjini and Crusher. I believe each are $4. (Damn, now up to the $4 mark are we, Dollarama?)

I don't think anybody mentioned this while I was away for the summer, but now, many EB Games that contained preowned skylanders now have a good stockpile of preowneds, and they are all on clearance. Figures start at $1.50 now (The price for green bases). What's more? For a few days they are on BOGO 50%. They just REALLY want these guys out, do they?

Anyone knows if Canadian Toys R Us will get Wave 1 and 2 at launch like US? I doubt it will be the case, but there's a chance since Wave 2 characters like Aurora and Starcast showed up at the canadian TRU demo 2 weeks ago.

It doesn't seem like Walmart or Toys R Us will have W2 based on the websites, however Bestbuy.ca does have them for pre-order. Site claims they will be released on October 16th, so I ordered them for a Monday delivery just to be sure. I think Saturday night I'm going to call around to verify which stores have them, then I can always cancel my order if it hasn't shipped. Bestbuy has this tendency to mail things before the weekend when they release that way (got my Disney Infinity 3.0 and a few other things way earlier). I'm also making sure each store will have the Imaginators stuff out at opening, every year I stand there while they try to locate the boxes in the back!! ITS FRUSTRATING! Also wastes a lot of time I could be going to the next store to score exclusives and chase variants.

Who knows at this point. The best word I could get from someone at an EB Games is they have six Sensei's available at launch. Most likely just wave 1. Walmart employees had no clue but at least were going to have them on the shelves for store open. The local TRUS employees were being douches and not giving me any info but I suspect Legendary Tri-Tip might be there. Malicedoll seemed to find CC Chopscotch maybe somewhere in Quebec? I personally pre-ordered the Crash pack, changed my mind from the dark pack because I pre-ordered the villian pack from Amazon and didn't want to double up on Wolfgang and I'm into more levels than creation crystals. Was tempted to order the other 8 Hero pack from amazon US but we're already getting hosed enough for prices. Seems like the wave 2 from BB.COM are mostly gone. Happy hunting tomorrow morning fellow Canadian Portal Masters! I'll try to post if I find anything special or unsuspected but not holding my breath.

I know that TRU have pegs for CCChopscotch and Legendary Tri-Tip. No idea if they will have Wave 2 at launch since the pegs say "Sensei Assortment" without names for other Senseis.

Walmart Upper James Hamilton had all Wave 1 & 2! No variants but we're happy Not expected.

So having been to a half dozen different stores, we noticed that Barbella is really short supplied. Most stores have 1 or 2 only. No stores seemed to have all of W1 and W2, we had to hit up several stores to get a combined complete set. We also realized there are 14 different Creation Crystals in single packs (then the additional starter crystals and adventure pack makes 17 total).

Has anyone found triple, or 8-pack creation crystals yet? I'd really rather not buy them individually.

I got a preorder 3 pack. The Tech, Undead and Magic but my EB wouldn't let me preorder the other one. I called around everywhere in Hamilton. No one had the other 3 pack of crystals. Honestly I don't know why I bought one of each lol

Haven't seen any 3-packs, 8-packs or Sensei+Crystal packs. Stock at EBGames was rather small. Several stores had Wave 1 and 2 but like Sivadreamer said, they were not complete (Ex: I did not see Barbella and Wolfgang at my local TRU, but they were available at Best Buy and Wal-Mart).

So the Sunday launch here in Calgary was pretty understated and lacklustre. Only 2 out of the 7 Walmarts I visited today had Imaginators, and the stock was scarce. The first one I went to was stocking as I walked in, and had a very limited number of figures (e.g., 2 Barbella, 2 Aurora). Walmart had the individual crystals, so I was able to pick those up there as well. Toys R Us was a bit better, with more stock of the figures and crystals, but there was a very modest turnout of interested customers--maybe 5 other groups of parents when I walked in when the doors opened at 11am. TRU had the 2 triple packs, but not the 8 pack, and I did not see any figure/crystal combo packs at any store I visited (Best buy, Walmart, TRU, EB Games). Also, all 4 retailers carried Candy Coated Chopscotch, so no EB Games exclusivity this year.

The first EB I went to (at opening at 12pm) had a super weak launch. Seriously, they put out on display a regular starter, a few figures and some crystals at the counter (not even any on the wall). Now this might have been because they didn't have things ready yet, but surprising none the less for a launch they advertised via flyer and e-flyer. I visited 4 separate EB locations and the supply was fairly sparse, with a very small amount of figures on the wall.
Oh and one other thing I noticed (and asked about)--they did not have ANY DARK EDITIONS out for sale. I asked an EB employee and they said the only ones they got in were for the pre-orders (including mine). And TRU did not have any, nor did Walmart or Best buy. Perhaps they will have them in later down the road, but I am thinking because of the overkill last year with the Dark Editions, that this year the retailers are more wary of starter pack overstock. So my advice would be to get the Dark edition while you can, at least here in Canada--they might be scarce like with the Dark Trap Team edition.

Did any of you order the Amazon.ca villian pack? They really screwed me on this. Delivery date went from Oct 24 to now Nov.15-Dec.16. Spoke to an amazon rep. Said sorry about your luck. No discount, no eta, sorry you live in Canada basically. Advise anyone to avoid them. American friends are getting their Chompy Mages and its still available on Amazon.com! ARGHH!

I pre-ordered in the second week of September (almost 4 weeks before release date), then when the release date arrived, we got a notice that they would ship end of October. Last night we received an email telling us they are cancelling our order, and the amazon.ca listing now states "we don't know when or if this item will will be back in stock."
I am pretty disappointed....alas, my Chompy Mage.

I luckily received my villain 5-pack Tuesday, but there is hope for those who didn't get Chompy Mage. The current Toys R Us flyer seems to show him, and a few Walmart stores last Sunday had pegs out for him so I don't think it will be to long till we see him. November 15th Wave 3 rumors thanks to that French website?

Amazon.ca sucks! I miss the days you could order from Amazon.com when our dollar was worth something and .ca didn't exist. I'm trying to call a TRUS but the line is busy for Chompy Mage. Anyone local to the 905 have a Dark crystal for trade or sale? I have doubles of the Magic, Undead, Tech in single box new still because I got the 3 pack.

Very surprised, since we never got the legendary traps! They had about 10 of each crystal, so looks pretty limited. Just hoping we get the magic one!

Yep! Found these at the TRU at Metrotown in Vancouver as well. They don't cost any more than a regular creation crystal, which is nice.

The Best Buy on Granville also finally put its Imaginator stock on the floor, grabbed a couple of the wave 2 characters like Ember and Starcast.
