I hope that, for other Kickstarter games' sake, that this game is ****ing good. Because this has to be the most disaterous game Kickstarter ever.

Well, the most disastrous one that went somewhere, considering the stuff Retsupurae finds.(and after the coffin bus... Some did go somewhere with much less)
Though man I hope nobody trusts Inafune anymore after this. Inti Creates went on to create a ton of cool things in the THREE YEARS he took delaying this over and over for increasingly dumb and day-one-patchable reasons.

From long-running changing of the game's release, corrupt community managers of the backer forums, and refund refusals. I'd say this game has one of the worst Kickstarter campaigns in existence.

I am so glad when I donated to the Kickstarter, I decided not to sign up for the forums or really follow the news at all.

It means I'm not as angry as I could've been. Right now I'm just like 'Well I donated some money for a decent MegaMan clone and if I get a decent MegaMan clone, I'm fine'.

I probably will not donate to another Kickstarter Inafune does unless this game is really good, however. Especially after the Red Ash fiasco (seriously man, wait until Mighty no. 9 is out before starting another Kickstarter!).

I have so many mixed feelings about Inafune now, argh...

It wasn't just Red Ash though, the cartoon show and DLC(which still has no news) were also a separate kickstarter.

Ah yes, I forgot about the show and DLC... It was mostly Red Ash that got me angry to the point of volcano, so the existence of the show and DLC slipped my mind.

Well, what I said before still stands. This game better really good before I even consider donating to another Kickstarter of Inafune's. I will probably still check out any game he makes and see if it appeals to me, but I don't see myself getting on the hype train for his stuff anymore.

It's a shame, too, because when I was really into MegaMan as a young teen, I admired Inafune and the people he worked with. It's why when the Mighty no. 9 Kickstarter emerged, I jumped at the chance to support him.

Now I feel that young teen trapped inside bitter disappointment. Talk about a broken pedestal.

I really should check out the stuff Inti Creates has made. Probably will help me feel better.

I don't have much stake in this myself but I feel like anything less than a phenomenal game will be considered a massive disappointment by many. The game has had so many troubles over the years that simply being decent won't be enough to satisfy people.

Same. I'm not getting my hopes up until I am holding the game in my hands for myself. I am pretty excited for it, though.

First Fighting is Magic, now Mighty No. 9, with Last Guardian scheduled to be released some time this year. It's almost as if Development Hell is full or something...

Them's Fighting Herds at least has frequent progress streams. They're going just slightly slower than Skullgirls' DLC development and they were the most experienced at the Z Engine, I wouldn't worry yet.
