In the interest of fairness I went and had a listen.

It's not terrible but I don't really like it. Then again I have never liked Rihanna (I think she's only ever had two decent songs) so I guess i'm biased.

Is it me or do you only listen to pop radio stations? Have you considered checking out things on your own rather than just blindly going with what radio tells you is good? I don't mean to be some pretentious snob when I say that (pop radio has good songs every now and then) but it shouldn't be your sole source of music.

its actually an alright song, kinda sounds like 80s documentary music at times but not in a bad way, its kinda cool actually

Can't we just let this guy enjoy whatever music he wants? Aside from the Whip and Nae Nae song, I wouldn't call all of pop radio "garbage". It's just not really my taste, but I don't hate it. If popular radio music is this guy's taste, let him enjoy it. He doesn't need to be converted to listen to "good" music if he already found something he likes.

Honestly, yeah. Everyone has different tastes in music. Liking mainstream pop music doesn't make you any less cool or sophisticated than listening to indie or OST's or whatever. I'm a huge fan of Daft Punk and Gorillaz, but I'd be lying if artists like Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande don't catch my eye as well. I actually really like Work tbh.

I do understand that many of you are doing it simply to introduce Pokemon2 to more styles of music, but I wouldn't do it by insulting him or the stuff he listens to. Here's a quote from Pan Pizza that I think gets the point across. Even if it's regarding cartoons, the message is the same.
