Hi.

I closed it because the thread was extremely clear in being a sexual reference and from the get go people were posting things that might not need to be known or is appropriate for a site of this manner.

Some people seem to forget that while S&N is of an older age range overall and we don't mind these jokes (trust me I normally wouldn't), this site on the whole is oriented towards a younger group, and S&N isn't some locked community where they aren't allowed to come in and see things. I've hesitated closing threads in the past because the last thing I need is being accused of not allowing any fun (which has happened already for less) but there has to be a line.

This just plays into subjectivity and that not everyone has the same sense of humor, I enjoyed the word play, this is a fairly common trend with the word play click bait, I really didn't find it so offensive that it should've been closed however, especially considering most of the topics that should be closed that aren't like the current Qcumber hate topic for example

I understand where CAV is coming from and reasoning for closing it but I just feel that there's tons of inappropriate topics that arent for the younger members that also should be closed aswell so it's like, where exactly is the medium

That's a really good question and it's something to really ponder moving forward. I admit on my end I've been shy to close threads that may be too much since it's really easy for someone to come in and complain that mods are too strict all of a sudden.

It appears there's been an error.

I went ahead and refreshed myself on the older topic regarding inappropriate content and in my very own post I state that innuendo is largely fine until it goes completely off the deep end. The thread tiptoes up to the line but in the end it isn't actually going past it.

With that I'm reopening the thread and extending my deepest apologies to Mesu. I'm sorry.

I do, though, ask that we all practice some sense in what is and isn't ok on the site. S&N may have an older crowd but what may be acceptable for our age range (or for the Skype group) may not be acceptable on this site even in this section.

I closed it under the question of "Would Dark really allow this to stand here?" without remembering that I myself said (after discussion and agreement among other mods) that it's largely fine unless it crosses the line into actual porn or erotic roleplay. That was a mistake.

EDIT: Also as an addition to that original topic I need to add that even if it doesn't show any explicit body parts, kink/fetish content is not to be posted on here. I didn't realize that had to be said but in recent months I noticed that a couple of users would post such things and that's not cool.

@CAV I understand the sexual reference was there, but honestly, if a kid were to see it, they'd have no clue about how it's a sexual reference, as nothing in the post indicates it's a sexual reference other than the fact that people are now saying it is. I wouldn't have posted it if I thought it was straight up in-your-face obvious that it was sex related.

Like I said to CAV, I don't think the sexual reference was obvious, because if you're a kid that's never heard of that idea before, you wouldn't see anything sexual about it. You'd see a circle, and a circle with an octagon in it.

I really agree with this. To me, it's seemed like for the most part Gen 5 on has been easy because of the E4 being in any order and just the trainer AI in general feeling dumber at times. BW at least had them get harder after the story, but then the motivation wasn't entirely there as they aren't even required to beat the game. B2W2's champ was laughable at best, as was Diantha.

I remember Gen 3 giving me so much trouble where beating one was lucky for me then after that it seeming near hopeless until I got stronger and smarter on how to play and still had a degree of difficulty. Gen 4 I still remember having to buy plenty of revives and potions then still have a few PP restores ready before I even dared challenge, then still lost a couple times before getting through. The difficulty curve dropped considerably once the E4 started all being the same level. The champion doesn't even feel like one anymore either. Iris & Diantha are nothing compared to Wallace, Cynthia, Lance, or Blue.

If I could sing I don't think I'd be so depressed and lazy, I'd be happy for once in my life, but life is ****ing unfair and I have to life my entire life knowing I'll never be able to sing and be in musicals or in a band or just to have fun

Tbh I've really been considering that, I think my frustration comes from my lack of natural talent and my inability to perform in the profession I'd want more than anything (Musical theatre) Because even with lessons I wouldn't be good enough for that, but I really do think I will take lessons once I can get the money

The Elite Four seems so unsatisfying in the past two generations. Gen 5's Elite Four wasn't as easy as Gen 6's, but they still weren't too difficult. Gen 6's Elite Four felt like 4 less-than-gym leaders (but then again, all gym leaders in that Gen felt like that), and the champion was a complete pushover.

Gen 3 was the hardest game for me, but it was also my first game. I remember struggling with every gym leader except for the first two, but especially the 7th. They really messed up in ORAS by giving Liza and Tate only one Pokemon each. When would a gym leader only have one Pokemon? I also feel like they messed up Steven, as he was really easy. The Elite Four weren't too easy, but Steven for some reason was. Maybe they just paced the leveling wrong. That's one of the reasons ORAS is one of my least favorite games. Favorite region, but too easy.

hffxbjyfuvyc keep on forgetting to check this topic sorry, but you should totally do it, natural great singers are really rare and a lot of really good singers took music lessons in the past or had a strong background in music. im sure if you get lessons you will be awesome at it!!!.

Even though I haven't watched Tobuscus in years, I'm on his side. It's easy just to make rape accusations online, and of all places it's tumblr. I don't understand why she didn't just talk to the police instead, and not to sound like a huge asshole if this whole story ends up being true but her tumblr posts sound more like a fanfiction than rl. Not to say Toby doesn't have a drug problem, I don't know too much about the guy to say if he does or not, but I don't think her rape story true.
