OOC: You mean water?

"Hmm, I'm not sure, we haven't done the proof. It is sticky, so I assume it does." the warbler answered, now growing more curious on why wa the sap so important.

Sybil climbed up, though very cautiously since she was making sure Sozen wouldn't have her a shock out of malice. She didn't talk for the rest of the way, very upset with Sozen for not understanding her anger towards him.

Guardian was beginning to fade. "Jack, come here my boy." Jack went up to him "I'm here pops." Guardian smiled "I want you to stay out of trouble you hear." Jack quickly responds "Dad don't talk like that. you're gonna be fine just hang in their you'll get better soon." Guardian knew better "ok but will you at least do that for me regardless?" Jack nodded "of corse I would now stop talking like that and take it easy."

The three warblers gathered up a few of their comrades and grabbed some of the containers they had emptied out during the drought. They then loaned it to Zera so that she could begin her work.

As they flew, Sybil was in no mood to appreciate the view, not on Sozen's company. As they were reaching Hunted island's shores, Sybil was expecting Guardian to be a little bit better, since that was the only thing that could cheer her up at the moment.

Sybil went to the burrow herself, practically pushing Sozen's big head out of the way.
"So how it goes?" she asked with a neutral expression, really needing some good news. Whirlpool was back in a corner looking for some jars, so he didn't answer her.

At the Haven, one of the three warblers that was accompanying Zera decided to watch the ocean in order to see the sharks, since they were always an impressive sight. But right where he landed, the tide brought in a lot of warbler feathers to the shore. It almost looked as if one of them molted, but that was impossible. The way those feathers were, it was like they were forced out. What was going on? It made the tiny bird nervous...

The warblers called more of their companions to help, since one of them already left them alone and they needed at least three of them to carry the containers. After they were done organizing themselves, they proceeded to follow Zera to the sore and help her with whatever she had planned... heading right to where the young warbler had discovered the alarming lot of feathers.

Sybil completely ignored Sozen, and started to look at Guardian. She couldn't tell whether he looked better or not, but she wanted to remain positive and wish for the best.

Rose returned the kiss.

"Come lay down-- you deserve a rest after everything that has happened to today.," Sayan then said inviting the tiger to relax. "Don't worry... nothing got through to the den. AJ and I remained safe and sound.," he gently added.

"As am I. If today has proven anything though-- it's that we can make through just about anything. I have a feeling the Haven will survive as will the Hunted.," Sayan then said trying to sound confidant.

As the warblers helping Zera arrived, they found their young friend quite startled about something. Then they too saw the mess of flying feathers, and became extremely worried.
"These feathers... they were forced out... what..." the male in charge of the group said, with everybody looking at each other. They didn't want to think the worst, but that looked as if a warbler was thrashed around. And indeed. That was unfortunately what was left of the warbler that came to greet Ravage when he was arriving last night...

"Wolverine!?" the warblers yelled in unison, having already been familiarized with that word. But as they were starting to panic, an old female that helped with the containers stepped in.
"It looks like that creatures arrival didn't came with lack of casualties after all." she assumed, believing that there was no other explanation for that. The little birds remained in silence for a while to pay their respects. Nobody could tell to whom those feathers belonged to, since they were so many of them, but a life was still a life, and they had learned that one of their own kind was just forever lost.

"Come on my children. Rest assure. The creature is dead thanks to our friend the crocodile. For now, we must focus on the task at hand." the elderly warbler said after that quiet moment, ready to help Zera for whatever reason she wanted that sap.

The warblers looked confused. It was as if Zera was saying that he was still alive but then the elder believed she also had the answer for that.
"Well dear, the wolverine arrived just last night, so it's no surprise that his scent is still active. A young one was witness to it's death. The crocodile here killed the creature by crushing it's head. Nobody could survive that." she explained, knowing how powerful a crocodile's jaw could be.
"Perhaps miss Sybil buried it somewhere, that's why you can still smell it." another warbler then said, in denial to the small possibility that the wolverine could still be alive even after such ordeal.

Guardia looked at Sybil, his condision was then evident that it was getting worse "ah Sybil you're back. you left before you could make that promise for me, I need to know that you wont harden your heart from what happened and should I die that you take care of my family as if they were your own flesh and blood. please wont at least promise me that much?" Shi was getting worried . Jack says "Dad stop talking like that. I'm not going to let you die that easily."

Sybil was getting really furious. Sozen's presence wasn't making things better either.
"Now you listen to me cobra, I didn't invent the Haven to have everyone de on it! Shadow hasn't even arrived yet and you're thinking like that! It's not like you have been poisoned! That's why I sent Sozen here!" Sybil said, practically yelling, when she turned to Sozen.
"There's a reason I sent you here! Use that sparky body of yours to do CPR or something! And you..." she then said, turning to Jack and the approaching Whirlpool this time.
"You guys know about medicine! Apply that knowledge!" she ordered, not noticing that with Sunflame as well, they had a lot on their hands, especially Whirlpool, who was quite old and really exhausted.

Without waiting for somebody to reply, Sybil once again left the burrow without making the promise, shoving Sozen's head out of the way again and heading to Hunted island beach. She was on denial on the possibility that Guardian was really that hurt, so instead, she decided to distract her mind with the Shadow task, calling into the ocean for Jet or anyone that could be around, since she didn't want to return to the Haven on Sozen...

Jack blocked her way "Sybil we're doing everything we can. but with the several awake we now have two patents to tend to but trust me I wont let him die. but he needs the peace of mind. he refuses to rest because you left without making that promis or not. please at least try to calm down and understand how old he is and how bad his injuries are. try to take things from his perspective."

"Oh alright! I promise!" Sybil then said, but more to be let go rather than actually meaning it. She still had too much stress and hate to think straight, so that visit was making things worse. She wasn't the civet she use to be.

Guardian smiled "thank you Sybil. I appreciate it." he then rested his head and fell asleep. Jack got out of the way and said "we'll hold you to your word Sybil. remember that."

Sybil felt so bad to act so hostile towards everybody, but so many bad things happening at the same time was too much for someone like her to take. She was just a civet, and she had too much on her shoulders. Now finally with the promise given, Sybil could leave, and reached Hunted island shores at last, but instead of calling everybody, she remained at the shore, feeling the water. Her previous concern about the orcas being there was completely gone, even with sharks on the water. She needed to calm down, and there was no better way than with feeling the tide...

Sunflame looks at Whirlpool and Jack. His eyes glisten in the light. Without even seeing the other patient, he makes a decision. Taking a deep breath, he speaks.

"Tend to the other one, I will be alright, until he is well. You two have tended to my physical wounds, the best anyone could. Now do all you can for him," Sunflame says before collapsing and return to resting. Despite his emotional pain he soon falls asleep.

Jaerl returns to his tree, ready to help in anyway he can if needed. His father, Royal watches over his friends, the warblers. Neither bird know of Ravage being alive.

AJ:
As my Aunt and Uncle rest, I decide to let them sleep and return to play later. Instead I go to visit Crocux. Hanging by one foot from a tree in front of him, I suprise him, giggling as he reacts. "Hi, Crocux," I say smiling at him.

Crocux recats very surprized "well hello AJ. I see you're doing well."

Jack shook his head "not an option." even though the several was already sleeping he didn't care. Jack looked at Sozen and said "so other then the wolverine nearly killing dad how are things going at the Haven?"

OOC: Hey people. I still haven't done the artwork. Too much going on home. But I hope to do it this weekend. I hope I can find my camera

Having enough relaxation, Sybil was now in a much more friendly demeanor, though she knew that a lot of work awaited her after she returned. So after taking a deep breath, she called to Jet.
"Jet! Jet! Come pick me up!" she called, though imagined he wouldn't answer since he was probably back at the Haven assisting the sharks. She wouldn't mind a ride from a shark if it was nearby, but it would feel odd and a bit scary.

AJ:
"Just doing my job, keeping others happy and lightening the mood. So, what have you been up to, other than hunting that wolverine. He was bad enough, now Shadow returns. If he tries to take a hostage...I swallow trembling at the thought. Any way lets try not to think about that. So want to play," I ask with my deep dark midnight blue eyes sparkling in the light.

"Um, yes, it's me." Sybil answered, feeling very strange how a shark would be friendly. She was use to them being wild and evil, especially since they were the orca's enemies.

At Whirlpool's burrow, things were going to get even more restless. For Barloc, who visited often to see how the serval was doing, came to the unexpected view of more visitors.
"Hey hey, what's this!? This isn't a hotel!" he said furiously, seeing only Sozen's body since he had his head inserted to the entrance. He had never met the eagle in person, but it had a notorious popularity there.

Jack glared at Barloc with a death glare "my father is wounded and your upset that my baby sister and her boyfriend are here because they're concerned for his well being. and you basically tell them to get lost!? get out of here now before I gut you!"

Barloc had enough of that chimp, so he replied with the same firm tone.
"Listen buster, don't forget that you're on MY island home, and that if you are here it's because I allow you to! So you better show some respect!" Barloc said scornfully, not willing to tolerate any insults from mere visitors. He believed he was gentle enough to allow Sybil to use his island as shelter to permit such insubordination.

Jack growled "may be but you're not the one with the knife!"

Sunflame wakes up as he hears the fighting. Despite his pain, he gets up and stands between the two. His eyes flash as he glares at Jack.

"Enough! No one is hurting anyone. I...He starts coughing up blood as the strain of doing this opens some of his wounds. Damn I can't do this, I'm..." Sunflame passes out before he can say anymore.

"Yes, I suppose so..." Sybil said, as she nervously climbed on the shark. It wasn't at all the same with an orca, who was bigger and had a more welcoming demeanor. She didn't want to demonstrate the shark that she was afraid, but she couldn't help trembling here and there from time to time.

Whirlpool, who was usually the most gentle creature one could ever found, even he was having enough of all that.
"We... tie." he said to Jack while carrying Sunflame, realizing that if the serval tried to stand up, all the work he did to close and heal those wounds would be useless.
"NO FIGHTING IN HOME!" the wombat then yelled, being that one of the VERY rare occasions where he spoke a full sentence, without any pause or stammer.

Whirlpool continued with healing Guardian, leaving Sunflame to rest and not tying him up like he said he would. He was a very kind wombat, and he said that only out of spite. He wouldn't want anyone to feel like a prisoner.

"I know, it's just that it's so odd having sharks helping." Sybil expressed, though hoping that wouldn't offend her escort. She didn't want to look like one to judge by reputation, since she wasn't like that at all. That's the reason why she gave keas a chance in the first place.

Sybil simply smiled instead of replying, and then lied down on his back, indicating that she was finally comfortable enough to lower her guard. She looked into those waters, once full with orcas, now with sharks, because of the stupid drought and because the annoying Shadow could not just stay home and leave them to live in peace.

"Thank you." Sybil said kindly to the shark, heading straight to her home to see how Zera was doing, only to remember that she left Crocux back at his home to wait for her when she was picked up by Sozen.

After reaching his gentle home, Sybil said in a bit of exhaustion.
"Hey Crocux. Sorry to have left you hanging like that. It was a matter of great importance." she explained, giving a little paw wave to AJ as soon as she saw him. She didn't mind his presence, so Sybil continued to where she left the conversation with the crocodile.
"So anyway Crocux, I was telling you on being careful of underestimating a Komodo dragon. You may be much bigger than them, but they have a very poisonous bite, so don't you dare fight Shadow face to face." she warned, believing that Crocux could talk to Zera or any other Komodo ally to have an idea on the threat he was facing.

Jack nodded "alright Whirlpool we'll stop." and went to tend to Sunflame's opened wounds.

Crocux nodded "I already know this Sybil. you forget my brother Saris has a poisonous bite as well. it can rival a kamodo dragon and may even be more deadly then theirs."

Whirlpool attended Guardian while Jack attended Sunflame, ashamed of the way he acted. He didn't like to act hostile, even if it was excused, so he tried to return to his gentle demeanor.

"Perhaps, but we can't experiment on that..." Sybil answered Crocux, finally remembering who Saris was.
"That Saris... he could help with the fight, but he still hasn't gotten over his sentence." Sybil said stubbornly, having decided to keep that lizard for one year at the outback, but knew she needed all the help she could get...

Crocux chuckled "oh no. I was their remember. you banished him then Rose had you change your mind. the only reason he left was because he felt ashamed of himself and knew when he wasn't wanted. he wont come back until ether the drought ends or he can come back with his head held high, which ever comes first. I know that for a fact he's as poisonuse as a kamodo. I don't really get it but apperently he has some sort of mutation that made his bite poisonus."

"Oh right that's true. Now I remember." Sybil exclaimed, remembering when she banished Saris, but having completely forgotten when Rose made her change her mind. Since the lizard left at his own will, she was misled with the thought that it was because she banished him, not to mention that so many stressful events happening at the same time made Sybil forget many things.
"Fine Crocux. If you want, you can go to the outback and invite him in. Tell him what is going on. I'm not keen to the idea of having him back, but we need all the help we can get." Sybil suggested, knowing that she would have to swallow her own pride and stubbornness if she wanted to defeat Shadow again. It terrified her to think that he could come back even more powerful than the last time.

Crocux shook his head "I doubt he will come. in fact I doubt he's still alive given how long he's been gone. trust me I would be happy to have him back but he's almost as stubbern as dad when he sets his mind on something. besides I wouldn't even know were to start looking. but then again I might know someone who does. be right back" he heads off to Sholeh's tree. as soon as he arrives he says "hey Warren yea here? I need to ask you something."

As Crocux left, Sybil returned to her own tree to see where Zera has settled in, but then Sybil imagined she was still taking care of the shark's identifications. She was tired, but she didn't want to waste time, so Sybil head to the beach herself to see how everything was going...

Sholeh came up her entrance, and answered Crocux.
"Warren doesn't live here. He lives about a kilometer away behind me, in a big tree." Sholeh instructed kindly, being Crocux's presence one of the very few she tolerated. Though it annoyed her not knowing what did he want with a bumbling vulture like Warren.

Crocux smiled "thanks Sholeh." he went over their "Warren I need to ask you a favor."

Warren was indeed home, and was more than surprised to see somebody had visited him.
"Oh hey Monsieur Crocux. This is very unexpected. What is it that you want?" he asked, wondering what usefulness he could be. He had such low esteem, he didn't believe anyone would need him for something.

Crocux smiles "have you been to the outback lately? cause if you have I need to know if you've seen a monitor out their that's a bit smaller then me."
