This is what I'm doing. I'll probably find a date to go with as friends since I have two weeks left but It'll still be a night to remember, I bet.

Went once in elementary school and never had much interest in going again. Never had a date to go with and it wasn't worth paying so much money to go with friends and stand around doing nothing.

I'd go if I had someone to go with, but since I'm not gonna ask anyone, and we all know how likely it is that someone will ask me, I'd say no for this year.

Oh right, it's basically a prom hosted by Sacramento's LGBT community center for LGBT+ youth and allies between the ages 13 to 20.

I went back when I was in high school. Didn't enjoy it at all. Friend set me up on a blind date with a girl I had nothing in common with. Seriously, he goal in life was to be a cheerleader for the NFL. She was also self-conscious about dancing so we spent the entire night sitting in silence. About the only thing we agreed on was stealing the table decoration.

Went to two, spent more money than they'd be ever worth but I enjoyed the second. Finally had found a school with people that knew some respect, though someone did attempt to ruin the prom speech, and that last time seeing the majority of then was a blast. Wouldn't go again though, there are literally only two places here that most schools use for proms so both the ones I went were the same place. Overly fancy and not fulfilling food, DJ apparently determined on destroying everyone's hearing, and a really weird resting area that no one seemed to even bother cleaning despite how expensive the whole ordeal was.
Doesn't help everyone went to the resting area to escape the overly loud music, either.

An elementary school dance isn't really comparable to an actual high school prom...

I'm going with a bunch of friends! I have my prom dress and color scheme planned out, I'm very excited.

I sadly don't have an actual date though, rip. But that won't stop me from snacking and goofing off with my friends all night long.

I went to senior prom with a friend and we left prom as a couple.

Of course, we're no longer together, but it was a wonderful experience.
