Bruh, appreciate the time with your grandmother. Like, she's old. If it makes her happy to spend time with you at church I'm sure you can stand a few hours. You'll miss that time with her one day.

Also, referring to Jesus as a "zombie" as a dig at Christians seems p rude.

Yeah, atheist or not at least try to respect if you're spending time with them. You're not in pain if you go to church for one day, unless you're a vampire or whatever, you can very much handle the situation reasonably.
I don't share the exaaact beliefs from my family but if they want a prayer circle or an hour or two at their religious place, five minutes or an hour won't kill me and will actually make them happy that I put differences aside for a bit.

I think there's more humor than lack of respect. It's religion.

Tell them you have a date with destiny and you're good.

If not, just tell them you like men.

I hated going to church as a kid. So damn boring. Probably my least favorite Catholic obligation. At least the others weren't weekly drudgery.

But I do agree with others about spending time with your family. You'll look back and miss it some day.

Going to church as an atheist is as effective as going to a Trump rally even though you're a Bernie supporter.

You could do what I do. My Sister will ask me to go to church with her, I'm not religious at all but if going to church makes her happy, I'll go. Going to church with your Grandmother shouldn't be an issue about faith, it should be about making her happy and you spending time with her and your family. You'll be fine. ^.^

Christianity as a religion has flaws but we aren't all bad. Hell the church I used to go to allows gays/transgenders.
